Laura Mae Altmann
Laura Mae Altmann, 91, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 20, 1910, in Pennsylvania. A resident for 31 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter, Marcia Heginbottom of Las Vegas; four sisters, Mary Spina of Canton, Ohio, and Lou Battaglia, Rose Tornesella and Yolanda Montanari, all of Buffalo, N.Y.; one brother, Ted Tornesella of San Diego; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling private arrangements.
Ruth A. Bailey
Ruth A. Bailey, 70, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Oct. 22, 1930, in Tekonsha, Mich. A resident for 36 years, she was a retired typist.
She is survived by her husband, Richard W.; one daughter, Virginia A. Bailey, and two sons, Richard W. Bailey Jr. and Roger W. Bailey, all of Las Vegas; and four grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Christ Lutheran Church, 111 N. Torrey Pines Drive. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Paul Bolton
Paul Bolton, 77, of Boulder City died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 23, 1924, in Venedocia, Ohio. A resident for 22 years, he was a retired industrial hygienist for a research and development firm, a World War II Army veteran, a graduate of Carnegie Institute of Technology with a chemical engineering degree, a member of the American Industrial Hygiene Association and Gamble-Aires Barbershop Chorus.
He is survived by his wife, Patty; two sons, David Bolton of Okinawa, Japan, and Dale Bolton of Las Vegas; one daughter, Nancy Raymond of Manteca, Calif.; one brother, Robert Bolton of Venedocia; two sisters, Margaret Krugh of Van Wert, Ohio, and Ruth Bowsher of Spencerville, Ohio; and five grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in Grace Community Church, 1150 Wyoming St., Boulder City. The family requests no cologne or perfume be worn to the memorial service. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
The family suggests donations to the Boulder Dam Credit Union, which will be forwarded to Carnegie Mellon University to provide scholarships for chemical engineering students.
Jane Boudreau
Jane Boudreau, 49, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born April 29, 1952, in Linton. Ind. A resident for 32 years, she worked for the continuing education department at UNLV.
She is survived by her husband, Tom; one son, Tommy Boudreau of Las Vegas; her mother and stepfather, Mary and Fred Overton of Odon, Ind.; one brother, Jeff Conklin of Henderson; two sisters, Susan Wright of Indianapolis and Linda Turchi of Linton; and two grandsons.
Visitation is scheduled noon-7 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be noon Wednesday in Central Christian Church, 3415 S. Mojave Road. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
The family suggests donations to the Central Christian Church Building Fund, 3415 S. Mojave Road, Las Vegas, NV 89121.
Margaret Kathleen Clark
Margaret Kathleen Clark, 51, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. A waitress, she was born Sept. 28, 1949, in Illinois.
She is survived by two sons, Lonnie Owens and Ronald Owens, both of Illinois.
No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Illinois. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Joseph F. Janitelli
Joseph F. Janitelli, 34, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 9, 1966, in Cleveland. A resident for 26 years, he was a union painter and a member of Chicago Painters and Decorators Union.
He is survived by his mother, Marianne Janitelli, one sister, Angela Campagna, one nephew, Gino Campagna, and one niece, Genifer Campagna, all of Las Vegas.
Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 130 N. Pecos Road, Henderson. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Norma Jean Leach
Norma Jean Leach, 72, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born March 19, 1929, in San Bernardino, Calif. A resident for two years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Raymond; one son, Duane Leach of Las Vegas; two daughters, Gayle Leach of Las Vegas and Patsy Forrester of Hacienda Heights, Calif.; two brothers, Richard Greenwood of Lake Havasu City, Ariz., and Fred Greenwood of Anaheim, Calif.; three sisters, Helen Titchnor of Las Vegas, Donna Wick of Auburn, Calif., and Shirley Richards of Bullhead City, Ariz.; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled noon-7 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
Clarence H. Nye Jr.
Clarence H. Nye Jr., 63, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born May 25, 1938, in Twin Falls, Idaho. A resident for 37 years, he was a retired North Las Vegas firefighter who served for 26 years and was a member of the National Cutting Horse Association.
He is survived by one daughter, Susan Nye, and one son, William H. Nye, both of Las Vegas; his stepmother, Frances Nye of Chehalis, Wash.; three sisters, Anne Ardith Nye of Medford, Ore., Daryle Nye of Rupert, Idaho, and Mary Frances O'Brien of Colorado; three brothers, Charles Frantz of Murphy Hot Springs, Idaho, Terry Frantz of Chehalis and Frank Frantz of Colorado; and two grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Sunday in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.
