Recently filed Las Vegas-area business-related lawsuits

Except where noted, the defendants either couldn't be reached for comment, declined comment or haven't responded to the allegations.

* Four homeowners' associations filed unrelated suits against builders and developers alleging construction defects. The properties involved are Canyon Willow West condominiums, Ridgeview Village condominiums, El Parque condominiums and Charlemont condominiums.

Joe Brandise, owner of El Parque defendant Brandise Construction, said: "This is the biggest ripoff in the world. The development was built to the standards and the city of Las Vegas' specifications."

* Spirit Ranch Homeowners Association sued Green Valley Ranch Community Association in a dispute over a landscaping water system.

* Retail website operator Euphorium LLC sued Delray Beach, Fla., computer software maker Ecometry Corp. in a dispute over alleged problems with Ecometry's mail-order software.

John Marrah, Ecometry's president, denied the allegations of problems with the software.
