Letter: Downturn not Bush’s fault

It is time for a few people to stop playing football without their helmets.
Let's look at the math. The economy has been on a downward spiral for the past two years. This downturn did not begin in the seven months of the Bush presidency.
When economic policies are put into practice, it takes years before their ramifications are felt. Unfortunately, we are now feeling the brunt of the recklessness of the Clinton economic policy.
Come to think of it, I never saw Clinton wear a football helmet either.
