Galleria mall expanding

Galleria at Sunset mall in Henderson said it will begin construction in October for an expansion that will include an 80,000-square-foot sporting goods store.

Galleria, an 891,00-square-foot mall that opened in 1996 and is currently 93 percent leased, said the expansion will include Galyan's Trading Co. an Indianapolis-based upper-end sporting goods store connecting to the mall at both levels.

The expansion is expected to be completed in October 2002 and will include another 40,000 square feet of small shop space.
