Global Cash Access and i2corp.com, both of Las Vegas, said they will co-develop a payment system for Internet gambling.
Global Cash Access is a maker of cash advance and cash access terminals that are used in many Las Vegas casinos. i2corp.com has patented a method of live remote wagering.
The system, which will be rolled out by early 2002, aims to create a secure method of payment with minimal risk of fraud for both the operator and gambling customer, said Kirk Sanford, Global Cash Access chief executive officer.
