Josh Anderson
Josh Anderson, 19, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 8, 1982, in Las Vegas. He was a university student.
He is survived by his parents, Dale and Pat Anderson of Las Vegas; two brothers, Jeremy Anderson of St. Louis and Jeff Anderson of Denver; and his grandmothers, Martha Mae Anderson and Marianne Anderson, both of Akron, Iowa.
Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday in Green Valley United Methodist Church, 2200 Robindale Road, Henderson. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
The family suggests donations to the International College of Applied Kinesiology in Kansas.
Geraldine F. Beatty
Geraldine F. Beatty, 82, of North Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 14, 1918, in Missouri. A resident for four years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two daughters, Susan Warner of Los Angeles and Mary F. Jennings of North Las Vegas; one son, Cain Warner of Detroit; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 6 p.m. Tuesday in St. James the Apostle Catholic Church, 820 N. H St. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.
Janice Faye Dennings
Janice Faye Dennings, 45, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 23, 1956, in Louisiana. A resident for eight months, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one son, Antione Sykes of San Bernardino, Calif.; one daughter, Aisha Rene Sykes of Las Vegas; six brothers, Eddie W. Kinchen Jr. of Hammond, La., George W. Kinchen of San Francisco, Jerry Y. Kinchen of Little Rock, Calif., Kemper B. Kinchen of Victorville, Calif., Thomas J. Kinchen of Minot, S.D., and John D. Kinchen of Atlanta; six sisters, Isadel Ponds of Daly City, Calif., Stella M. Hamlett of Moreno Valley, Calif., Yevone K. Jackson of Las Vegas, Janet Haynes of Grand Rapids, Mich., and Lillie M. Kinchen and Betty L. Kinchen, both of Adelanto, Calif.; and three grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2-8 p.m. Tuesday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in American Burial and Cremation Services. Burial will be private.
Ila M. Gifis
Ila M. Gifis, 86, of North Las Vegas died Friday in North Las Vegas. She was born April 16, 1915, in Iowa. A resident for 25 years, she was a retired executive secretary for an aircraft manufacturer and active in senior citizens groups.
She is survived by one daughter, Virginia Ragsdale of North Las Vegas; one son, Steven Wilks of St. Louis; eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.

Melchor Gonzalez
Melchor Gonzalez, 70, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 13, 1931, in Mexico. A resident for 30 years, she was a retired hotel seamstress.
She is survived by three sons, Alvaro Rosales and Filiberto Rosales, both of Las Vegas, and Baldomero Rosales of California; one daughter, Rosalva Sarabia, four sisters, Maria Gonzalez, Alicia Gonzalez, Maria De Jesus Aguirre and Maria Luisa Gonzalez, and two brothers, Bruno Gonzalez and Franco Gonzalez, all of Las Vegas; 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 7-8 p.m. today in Asamblea Apostolica Church, 2110 N. Lamb Blvd., Suites F and G. Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in Asamblea Apostolica Church. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
Helen Herman
Helen Herman, 75, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Sept. 18, 1926, in Detroit. A resident for three years, she was a retired bookkeeper, past president of B'nai B'rith, chairwoman for United Synagogue Youth of Congregation Beth Shalom in Oak Park, Mich., a member of Women's League of Temple Beth Sholom in Las Vegas and City of Hope in Detroit.
She is survived by her husband, Irving; one daughter, Sherri Snobel of Las Vegas; two sons, Bruce Herman of Las Vegas and Larry Herman of Jerusalem; seven grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Services will be noon Tuesday in King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery, 2697 Eldorado Lane. Burial will follow in King David Cemetery.
The family suggests donations to the American Diabetes Association, 2785 E. Desert Inn Road, Las Vegas, NV 89121, or Capital Fund of Congregation Beth Shalom, 14601 W. Lincoln Road, Oak Park, MI 48237.
Dianna L. Manuel
Dianna L. Manuel, 59, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 10, 1942, in Highland Park, Mich. A resident for 11 years, she was a certified nursing assistant.
She is survived by her husband, Bobby; one son, Sean Wallace of Studio City, Calif.; two daughters, Karen Meyers of Las Vegas and Sharon Wallace of Thousand Oaks, Calif.; her mother, Mary Lou Wilson of Las Vegas; one sister, Karen Randle of Seattle; and two grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Burial will be in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest, 5701 N. Jones Blvd. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Paul Robert Orillion
Paul Robert Orillion, 42, of Henderson died Saturday in Henderson. He was born April 19, 1959, in Los Angeles. A resident for 20 years, he was head programmer for Clark County for more than 10 years.
He is survived by his father, Robert Orillion, and one sister, Marie-France Orillion, both of Winchester, Calif.
Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
