Gabriel Alspaugh, 29, of Las Vegas died Oct. 18 in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 30, 1971, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, he was a laborer in the landscaping industry.
He is survived by his his mother, Mildred Hermosillo, his father and stepmother, Torch and Sharon Alspaugh, two sisters, Melody Alspaugh and Crystal Gail Alspaugh, one brother, Torch Alspaugh Jr., and his grandmother, Manuela Medina, all of Las Vegas; his grandfather, Tony Francis of Fontana, Calif.; and his great-grandfather, Max Gutierrez of Las Vegas.

Roger A. Ancona
Roger A. Ancona, 96, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local health care center. He was born Jan. 4, 1905, in Reading, Pa. A resident for eight years, he was a retired property manager.
He is survived by his wife, Helen.

Marjorie Elaine Anderson
Marjorie Elaine Anderson, 80, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 13, 1921, in Aberdeen, S.C. A resident for four years, she was a bookkeeper.
She is survived by her spouse, Osborne Anderson of Las Vegas; and one daughter, Sharon Ann Boyajian of Santa Ana, Calif.
No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Santa Ana. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Janet L. Barcza
Janet L. Barcza, 62, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 1, 1939, in Robbinsdale, Minn. A resident for 22 years, she was a Metro Police records technician and a member of the Police Protection Association.
She is survived by her husband, Charles S.; three sons, James Rozar, Steven Rozar and Charles Barcza Jr., and one daughter, Tracy Aray, all of California; two sisters, Pat Stewart of Minnesota and Georgeann Mollet of California; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services were scheduled at noon today in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, followed by burial in Memory Gardens, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road.

Ann M. Barton
Ann M. Barton, 57, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born June 16, 1944, in Albany, N.Y. A resident for five years, she was a school bus driver.
She is survived by two sons, Robert D. Barton and Carl N. Barton, and her mother, Bernice Mango, all of Albany; two sisters, Esther Nati of Albany and Patricia C. Davis of Las Vegas; and her godson, Daniel Davis of Las Vegas.
Services will be 7 p.m. Thursday in Redeemer Lutheran Church, 1730 N. Pecos Road. Valley Memorial Crematory, 4855 W. Desert Inn Road, is handling arrangements.
Harriet Bass
Harriet Bass, 82, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local care center. She was born April 8, 1919, in Foss, Okla. A resident for 20 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Noah; two daughters, Tresa Moulton of Cabin John, Md., and Kathy Sharp of Las Vegas; three sons, John Bass of Richardson, Texas, and James Bass and Robert Bass, both of Las Vegas; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday in St. Bridget's Catholic Church, 220 N. 14 St.

Virginia M. Broughton, 85, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 16, 1985, in Peoria, Ill. A resident for 22 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Glen L.; two daughters, Pam Kirkendall of Las Vegas and Glenda Jackson of Sammamish, Wash.; and three grandchildren.

William Carlyle, 66, of Blue Diamond died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 22, 1935, in Port Huron, Mich. A resident for 40 years, he was a hotel boxman and a Korean War Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Carmen; one daughter, Shannon Casanova of Las Vegas; two sons, Gilbert Breen of Barboursville, Va., and Edward Breen of Las Vegas; one brother, Jack Carlisle of Alpena, Mich.; and five grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 12:30 p.m. Saturday in the LDS Desert View Ward. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Mortuary.

Karen Lee Crain, 49, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospice. She was born July 18, 1952, in Spokane, Wash. A resident for 41 years, she was a hotel housekeeper.
She is survived by one daughter, Faun Lee Ginac of Henderson; one son, Christopher Ginac, and her mother, Faun Crain-Olsen, both of Las Vegas; and two sisters, Colletta Mattern of Henderson and Penny Kleinknecht of Spokane.

Valliere E. Curell, 79, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born May 4, 1922, in Elkhorn, Wis. A resident for 42 years, she was a cashier and dish-up at Circus Circus and Slots Of Fun.
She is survived by three sons, Robert E. Curell and Mike Minikel, both of Las Vegas and Bob Minikel of Minneapolis; two daughters, Rose Gonzales of Pomona, Calif., and Jeannie Hein of Monroe, Wis.; one sister, Joyce Papenfus of Lake Geneva, Wis.; 17 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 3-8 p.m. Friday and Saturday in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday in Davis Funeral Home. Burial will be in Wisconsin.
Jimmy Lee Drinkard
Jimmy Lee Drinkard, 61, of Las Vegas died Oct. 17 in Las Vegas. He was born June 24, 1940, in Greensboro, Ga. A resident for 18 years, he was a promoter in the entertainment industry and an Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Myrna; six children; one sister; one brother; and three grandchildren.

Susan Favaro
Susan Favaro, 47, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born May 11, 1954, in San Pedro, Calif. A resident for 31 years, she was a restaurant manager.
She is survived by her lifetime partner, Shauna Grotts, two daughters, Michelle Favaro and Katie Favaro, one son, Little Cam Favaro, and two stepdaughters, Kellie Grotts and Sarah Grotts, all of Las Vegas; three sisters, Linda Manter of California, Cindy Small of Pahrump and Martha Dowell of Oklahoma; and two brothers, Butch Mankins and Billy Dowell, both of Oklahoma.

Ronald Kelly Fox, 42, of Las Vegas died Oct. 6 in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 24, 1958, in Great Falls, Mont. A resident for five months, he was an upholsterer for John Van Hooves Furniture Design.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon; and one sister, Phyliss Fox.

Richard H. Gold
Richard H. Gold, 73, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospice. He was born June 4, 1928, in Medford, Mass. A resident for 13 years, he was a retired executive vice president for an inner sole company, an Army veteran and a member of the Masons.
He is survived by one sister, Marilyn Schindler of Las Vegas.
No local services are scheduled. Services will be in Massachusetts. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

Joseph Ross Hayworth, 72, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born June 17, 1928, in Lexington, Ky. A resident for 12 years, he was a retired Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his wife, O. Jean; five sons, David Joseph Hayworth, Daniel John Hayworth, Jody Brooks, Richard G. Brooks and Steven P. Brooks; one daughter, Diane B. Anderson; one brother, Bibb Jones; one sister, Barbara Brown; 27 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 5-8 p.m. Friday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Additional visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 10:30 a.m. services Saturday in the LDS ward in Pahrump. A chapel service will follow at 11 a.m. Saturday in Grandview Cemetery, Pahrump.
The Rev. Thomas D. Holland
The Rev. Thomas D. Holland, 75, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born March 7, 1926, in Vail, Iowa. A resident for 24 years, he was a Catholic priest since 1955 and a retired World War II Air Force veteran who served for 21 years.
He is survived by two brothers, John L. Holland of Minnesota and William P. Holland of Riverside, Calif.; three sisters, Sister Joan Holland of Riverside, Catherine L. Clausen of Wright City, Mo., and Carol C. Cavano of Saratoga, N.Y.
Visitation is scheduled 1-5 p.m. Monday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Rosary will follow at 7 p.m. Monday in Guardian Angel Cathedral, 302 E. Desert Inn Road. Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in Guardian Angel Cathedral. Burial will be in Iowa.

Martin Howard
Martin Howard, 84, of Pahrump died Wednesday in Pahrump. He was born Oct. 19, 1916, in Loogootee, Ind. A resident for 45 years, he was a retired Air Force fabrication specialist, a World War II veteran, a retired civil service employee, a pro golfer and taught at the National School of Golf.
He is survived by one son, Gene Martin Howard of Pahrump; two daughters, Ethel Mae Scott and Carol Ann Robinson, both of Las Vegas; two brothers, Chester Rankin of Las Vegas and Charles Rankin of San Diego; one sister, Alice Treadwell of Tulsa, Okla.; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m.-noon Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.
Services will be 1 p.m. Friday in Palm Chapel, Main.
Vincent Jones
Vincent Jones, 83, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospice. He was born Oct. 30, 1917, in Girard, Kan. A resident for 11 years, he was a retired railroad telegrapher and a World War II Navy veteran.
He is survived by one daughter, Karel Black, and one brother, Robert V. Jones, both of Las Vegas; three sisters, Rosalee Wood of Norman, Okla., Donna Baker of Springfield, Mo., and Betty Benkosky of Wichita, Kan.; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Dennis Dante Minadeo, 63, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born May 25, 1938, in Cleveland. A resident for six years, he was a carpenter superintendent for MPC Contracting.
He is survived by his wife, Barrie; one son, Mark Minadeo; one daughter, Dana Tregellas; one stepson, Brandon Petyan; one stepdaughter, Erika Petyan; one sister, Patricia Minadeo; one brother, Norman Minadeo; and six grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Central Christian Church, 1001 New Beginnings Drive, Henderson. Neptune Society of Nevada, 8570 Del Webb Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Yorika Powe, 23, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Sept. 24, 1978, in California. A resident for several years, she was a student.
She is survived by her parents, Ada and Willie Stallworth; two sisters, Stephanie Stallworth of Las Vegas and LaKisha Stallworth of Los Angeles; and one brother, Daven Stallworth of Las Vegas.

Ralph Phillip Quesnel
Ralph Phillip Quesnel, 86, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born July 19, 1915, in Vallejo, Calif. A resident for 24 years, he was a welder for a defense company, a World War II Army veteran and a member of the Moose.
He was preceded in death by one son, Ralph Quesnel Jr.
He is survived by his companion, Bonnie; one stepdaughter, Marie Henderson of San Ysidro, Calif.; Pat Aikens of Magalia, Calif.; three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and four step-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled noon-5 p.m. Sunday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday in Bunkers Chapel. Burial will follow in Eden Vale Memorial Park.

Jeanne Reick, 78, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born March 9, 1923, in Arco, Idaho. A resident for 15 years, she was a restaurateur and a World War II Marine Corps veteran.
She is survived by her husband, Edward C.; one son, Donald Reick of Taylorsville, Utah; one daughter, Susan Schaat, and one sister, Nedra Maag, both of Idaho Falls, Idaho; one brother, Ralph Straw of Phoenix; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

James Scobie, 64, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 27, 1936, in Janesville, Wis. A resident for nine years, he was a sales consultant in the aerospace industry and a member of the Sin City Hot Rod Car Club of Las Vegas.
He is survived by his wife, Ann L.; three daughters, Deborah Gallegly of Las Vegas, Roberta Scobie of Laguna Niguel, Calif., and Shannon Mollinedo of Buena Park, Calif.; two sons, James R. Scobie of Laguna Niguel and Donald S. Scobie of Las Vegas; 16 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Rommel Tria, 25, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 14, 1976, in Manila, Philippines. A resident for two years, he was an assistant waiter at Bally's.
He is survived by his father, Reynaldo Tria, his mother, Ines McGlinchey, one brother, R.J. Tria, two sisters, Rhoda Tria and Kristine McGlinchey, and his grandparents, Rustico and Remedios Tria, and Christeta Po, all of Manila; and one aunt, Virginia Del Mundo of Las Vegas.
Services will be 6 p.m. today in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will be in Manila.
Khoi Vo
Khoi Vo, 68, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 28, 1932, in Hue, Vietnam. A resident for eight years, he was a fish market salesman.
He is survived by his wife, Thiu; three daughters, Thuy Vo and Huong Vo, both of Vietnam, and Nga Vo of Las Vegas; five sons, Tan Vo, Thanh Vo, Loc Vo and Tai Vo, all of Vietnam, and Phat Vo of Las Vegas; and seven grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.

Mildred Irene Watts, 80, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born June 15, 1921, in Bucyrus, Kan. A resident for 35 years, she was a teacher.
She is survived by one son, Johnson Watts of Las Vegas; two daughters, Margaret Watts of Shawnee, Kan., and Tera Newfield of Winfield, Kan.; and four grandchildren.

Gordon Yee, 65, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 12, 1936, in China. A resident for 22 years, he was a casino host.
He is survived by his wife, Jane; one daughter, Charity Yee of Denver; two sons, Anton Yee of Denver and Heath Yee of Portland, Ore.; and four grandchildren.
