I work at McCarran International Airport and presently the airport security has been increased greatly with the presence of the National Guard.
Many of these fine men and women have families at home, and if a bad situation should occur while they are on duty, they probably will be the first to encounter the problem there by putting their lives on the line.
I feel that all airport restaurants -- Burger King, Starbucks, Taco Bell, etc. -- should offer free coffee to all National Guardsmen upon their request. A small discount is not enough if offered at all. It should be free.
Come on, all airport restaurants, let's show our appreciation and patriotism and offer them free coffee. It can be a great American thing to do, and also a tax write-off.
