Savage gets new duties as state computer chief

CARSON CITY -- Terry Savage, director of the state Department of Information Technology, has been given new duties to coordinate the use of computers in state government, Gov. Kenny Guinn said today.
Savage will remain in his $103,301-a-year job, but will become the chief information officer for Nevada, setting the guidelines for moving electronic information for the state.
