Evelyn M. Alston
Evelyn M. Alston, 85, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 17, 1916, in Anadarko, Okla. A resident for 10 years, she was a bookkeeper for a furniture business and a member of the West Covina Garden Club.
She is survived by one daughter, Anita Kruse of Apple Valley, Calif.; two sisters, Kathryn Westbrook and Francis Roe, and one brother, Woodrow Mitchell, all of Texas; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St., is handling private arrangements.
The family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society, 1325 E. Harmon Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
Lola Owens Barton
Lola Owens Barton, 80, of American Fork, Utah, died Friday in American Fork. She was born Aug. 10, 1921, in Panguitch, Utah. A former Henderson resident, she served 19 years in the LDS Stake Relief Society presidency in Henderson, and she and her husband served three missions in Harrisburg, Pa., Nauvoo, Ill., and Bristol, England.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Joseph; five sons, Joseph G. Barton of Albany, Ore., E. Kay Barton of American Fork, Jack Barton and Richard Barton, both of Henderson, and Neal Barton of Panguitch; five daughters, Roma Gilmore, Shirley Gibson and Betty Ann Wirig, all of Highland, Utah, Janet Bennett of Henderson and Joyce Bennett of Panguitch; two sisters, Norma Owens and Sarah Owens Brady; two brothers, Jack Owens and Glayde Owens; 49 grandchildren and 60 great-grandchildren.
No local services are scheduled. Anderson & Sons Mortuary, American Fork, is handling arrangements.
William Gilbert Bobier
William Gilbert Bobier, 71, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 31, 1930, in Kansas. A resident for 34 years, he was a teacher, counselor and coach at Valley high School for 25 years, an Air Force veteran and graduated with a master's degree from Friends University where he also played football.
He is survived by one son, Thomas Aldershof of Las Vegas; three sisters, Marjorie Rasore, Carrie Mayes and Irene Pohlman, all of Wichita, Kan.; and three grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled noon-6 p.m. Tuesday in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd. A memorial service will be 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Valley High School, 2839 Burnham Ave. Burial will be in Kansas.
Letha Bonelli
Letha Bonelli, 91, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local care center. She was born July 29, 1910, in Arlington, Ariz. A resident for 26 years, she was a retired teacher, a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the National Educators' Association and the LDS Relief Society, a board member for the Kingman Historical Preservation Society and the Arizona Children's Colony.
She is survived by three daughters, Ellen Pace of Ogden, Utah, Mary Ashworth of Las Vegas and Jan Michelle Borenstein of Beaumont, Texas; one son, George Franklin Bonelli of Coolidge, Ariz.; two sisters, Virginia Griffith and Margie Josephson, both of Salt Lake City; 15 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Additional visitation is scheduled 90 minutes prior to 11 a.m. services Tuesday in the LDS Sixth Ward, 3400 W. Charleston Blvd. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.
The family suggests contributions to the donor's favorite charity.
Robert Elwood
Robert Elwood, 56, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 12, 1945, in Newark, N.J. A resident for one year, he was a retired Woodbridge, N.J., police captain, Vietnam War Air Force veteran and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He is survived by his wife, Alice; three daughters, Shirley Pryor of Englishtown, N.J., Debbie Scibetta of Brick, N.J., and Tina Carrano of Albuquerque, N.M.; two sons, John Schumitta of New York City and Anthony Elwood of Springfield, Mo.; his parents, Wilbur and Katherine Elwood, and one sister, Judith Karmazin, all of Avenel, N.J.; and eight grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Services will be 5 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Chapel, Cheyenne.
Patricia L. Fleig
Patricia L. Fleig, 64, of Beaver, Utah, died Friday in a Beaver hospital. She was born Sept. 8, 1937, in Oakland, Calif. A former Las Vegas resident from 1958 to 1996, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Horace J.; one son, Jack Fleig of Las Vegas; one daughter, Connie Peterson of Ramona, Calif.; one sister, Lois Smith of Melbourne, Fla.; and five grandchildren.
Visitation is private. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Graveside services will follow at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in Palm Memorial Park.

Donald Wayne Gregg
Donald Wayne Gregg, 38, of Bullhead City, Ariz., died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 26, 1962, in Dayton, Ohio. A resident for five years, he was a self-employed dry waller and an Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Tammy, his mother, Gladys Gregg, and three brothers, Clifford Gregg, David Gregg and Kelly Gregg, all of California.

Marjorie B. Johansen
Marjorie B. Johansen, 84, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local convalescent hospital. She was born Dec. 31, 1916, in Los Angeles. A resident for 11 years, she was a retired UCLA administrator and a former volunteer at Valley Hospital and University Medical Center.
She is survived by one son, Terry Johansen of Las Vegas; and one grandchild.

William A. Johnson
William A. Johnson, 71, of Henderson died Sunday in a rehabilitation hospital. He was born Dec. 1, 1929, in Dayton, Ohio. A resident for two years, he was a retired bank courier and a Korean War Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Penny; three sons, David Johnson of Inglewood, Ohio, Christopher Johnson of Bloomington, Ohio, and Kevin Meir of Faribault, Minn.; one daughter, Elke Mier of Henderson; two brothers, David Johnson and Dick Johnson, both of Dayton; two sisters, Patricia Lackmond of Green Mountain Falls, Colo., and Sue Nelson of Mabank, Texas; and four grandchildren.

Helen Katre
Helen Katre, 62, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospice. She was born Jan. 10, 1939, in St. Louis. A resident for 13 years, she was a retired librarian and a member of the Ladies Philoptochos of St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church.
She is survived by her husband, Ilia; one daughter, Eugenia Kourlos of Boston; one son, Mark Katre of Reno; her mother, Dhimitra Sotira, and one brother, George Sotira, both of Las Vegas; two sisters, Dora Jorgavan of St. Louis and Antoinette Wadlow of Henderson; and two grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 3-8 p.m. today in St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church, 5300 S. El Camino Road. A divine liturgy will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. John with services following at noon.

Florence C. Klares
Florence C. Klares, 87, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 7, 1913, in Cleveland. A resident for seven years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons, John Klares Jr. of Las Vegas and Douglas Klares of LaPlata, Md.; and four grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 5:30 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.
Giovanina 'Jennie' Lahoucine
Giovanina "Jennie" Lahoucine, 79, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born March 15, 1922, in Detroit. A resident for eight years, she was a homemaker, a member of Odd Fellows and Rebekah Lodge.
She is survived by her husband, Mohammed; two daughters, Marianne Tillotson and Bea Rutberg, both of Las Vegas; one brother, Ambrose Biondo of Mount Clemens, Mich.; two sisters, Grace Bommarito of Grosse Pointe Park, Mich., and Mena Biondo of Jacksonville, Fla.; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. today with a 6 p.m. rosary in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.

Rhoda B. MacDonald, 87, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospice. She was born Sept. 10, 1914, in Hollywood, Calif. A resident for 34 years, she was a retired bookkeeper for an automotive firm.
She is survived by two nephews, Walter Hersley of North Hollywood, Calif., and Perry Hersley of Bullhead City, Ariz.
Graveside services will be noon Tuesday in Palm Valley View Memorial Park, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

Margaret Rose Peck Motley, 42, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born May 16, 1959, in Texas. A resident for 42 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Gary; one son, Nigel Lee Mosley of Mesquite, Texas; one daughter, Courtney Rose Mosley of Little Rock, Ark.; two sisters, Patricia Logan of Mesquite and Cindy Mantooth of Washington state; one brother, Gordon Peck III of Little Rock; and two grandchildren.

Frederick Charles Roeglin III
Frederick Charles Roeglin III, 56, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 28, 1945, in Detroit. A resident for seven years, he was a slot floorman and an Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Linda; one son, Frederick Charles Roeglin IV, one daughter, Karen Lynn Roeglin, and one brother, Charles Lee Roeglin, all of Las Vegas; one sister, Catherine D. Smith of Dunlap, Tenn.; and five grandchildren.
A memorial service was scheduled at 10 a.m. today in Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St.
Jimmie W. Silvas
Jimmie W. Silvas, 80, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born April 13, 1921, in California. A resident for many years, he was a police captain, a security officer for celebrities at the MGM Grand, managed Little League baseball and was a veteran of the Navy and Coast Guard where he was a survivor of the Battle of Midway and Pearl Harbor.
He is survived by two sons, Steven Silvas and David Silvas, both of Las Vegas; one grandchild and one great-grandchild.
Services and burial will be in California. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Greg Lee Smith
Greg Lee Smith, 52, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 2, 1949, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, he was a laborer in the construction industry.
He is survived by his mother, Evelyn "C.C." Smith, and one brother, Timothy Smith, both of Las Vegas; and one stepsister, Mellory Smith.

Patricia Walker
Patricia Walker, 43, of Las Vegas died Oct. 15 in Las Vegas. She was born March 12, 1958, in Pittsburg, Calif. A resident for 10 years, she was a sales clerk at Savers.
She is survived by two daughters, Raven N. Stanley and Shawna DelSasso, her parents, Richard and Dorothy Walker, and two brothers, Rick Walker and Gary Walker, all of Las Vegas; her grandmothers, Isabelle Walker of Brentwood, Calif., and Clara Belle Hinton of Bay Point, Calif.; and three grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m.-noon Wednesday in Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St. Graveside services will follow at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday in Woodlawn Cemetery.
