Deacon Carlisle Banks
Deacon Carlisle Banks, 76, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 10, 1925, in Louisville, Ky. A resident for two years, he was a retired postal worker, World War II Navy veteran and a volunteer of Senior Friends.
He is survived by his wife, Marie H. Sims-Banks; one son, Carlyle Banks of Glenwood, Ill.; and one grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Services will be noon Monday at Palm Mortuary, Jones.
Joan V. Bragado
Joan V. Bragado, 70, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born May 5, 1931, in Chicago. A resident for 15 years, she was a retired secretary.
She is survived by one daughter, Rosemary Bragado of Las Vegas; two stepsons, Charles Bragado of Valparaiso, Ind., and James Bragado of Chicago; one stepdaughter, Linda McCarthy of Gurnee, Ill.; one brother, William Puda of Glen Ellyn, Ill.; and nine grandchildren.
Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., handled arrangements.
The family suggests donations to the Ovarian Cancer Alliance of Nevada.
George Curtiss Clark
George Curtiss Clark, 70, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born June 7, 1931, in Delores, Colo. A resident for 12 years, he was a construction foreman, World War II and Korean War Air Force veteran and a member of Carpenters Local 630.
He is survived by his wife, Pauline; four daughters, Paula Linkroum of Palo Alto, Calif., Connie Betz of Henderson, Betty of California and Terrie of Nebraska; and eight grandchildren.
Graveside services will be noon Monday in Paradise Memorial Gardens. Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
Celia R. Decker
Celia R. Decker, 80, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local care center. She was born June 28, 1921, in California. A resident for four years, she was a retired accountant for a chemical manufacturing company.
She is survived by one brother, William Ramos of Medanales, N.M.; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., handled arrangements.
Delmar Kenneth Duckworth
Delmar Kenneth Duckworth, 63, of Sloan died Sunday. He was born May 7, 1938, in Port Huron, Mich. A resident for 13 years, he was a security officer and an Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his wife; Marilyn; one daughter, Michele of Las Vegas; three sons, Theadore of Charlevoix, Mich., Patrick of Goshen, Ind., and Eric of Pear Harbor, Hawaii; six brothers, Larry and Chuck, both of Texas, and Donald, David, Michael and Skip, all of Michigan; two sisters, Evelyn Kay of Texas and Ola of New York; and seven grandchildren.
A celebration of his life will be held Saturday at his home in Sloan. Services will be held Oct. 27 in Port Huron. Nevada Funeral Service, 2983 Fremont St., handled arrangements.
Sean Anthony Goldston
Sean Anthony Goldston, 4 months, of Boulder City died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born June 1, 2001, in Las Vegas.
He is survived by his parents, Kendra and Larry Goldston, and one sister, Brittany Goldston, all of Boulder City; and his grandparents, Clay and Margery Goldston of Boulder City and Vanessa Kelly of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled 12:30 until 1:30 p.m. services Saturday in the Buchanan Boulevard LDS chapel, Boulder City. Burial will be in Boulder City Cemetery. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Raymond Maxwell Harris Sr.
Raymond Maxwell Harris Sr., 81, of Henderson died Thursday in Henderson. He was born Aug. 11, 1920, in Minneapolis. A resident for two years, he was a retired Navy captain and World War II and Korean War veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Christina Ackerson; one son, Raymond M. Harris Jr. of Macungie, Pa.; two sisters, Rosemary Besbeck of Palm Desert, Calif., and Joan Feldman of Rancho Mirage, Calif.; and two grandchildren.
No local services scheduled. Burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., handled arrangements.
Robert J. Landry
Robert J. Landry, 88, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born July 3, 1913, in Pasadena, Calif. A resident for eight years, he was a retired postal worker, Korean War Navy veteran and a member of the ACBL.
He is survived by his wife, Isabelle; three daughters, Marcelita Evans of Brea, Calif., Robin Landry of Los Angeles and Janis Freeman of Arlington, Va.; 15 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren.

Regina Lewis
Regina Lewis, 42, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born July 4, 1959, in St. Louis. A resident for 25 years, she was a hotel housekeeper.
She is survived by one daughter, Donnice Lewis, two sons, Robert Lewis and DeAndrew Lewis, and her mother, Erma Stevenson, all of Las Vegas; four brothers, Frank Lewis and Charles Lewis, both of St. Louis, and Stanley Smith and Michael Smith, both of Las Vegas; two sisters, Dollean Lewis of New York City and Michelle Smith of Las Vegas; and eight grandchildren.
A memorial services was scheduled at 1 p.m. today in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Burial will be private. Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., handled arrangements.
Diane L. Loew
Diane L. Loew, 52, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born Sept. 10, 1949, in Reading, Pa. A resident for five years, she was a paralegal.
She is survived by her partner, M. Zane Stemple of Las Vegas; and her father, Franklin A. Loew of Lancaster, Pa.

Anna B. Lyon
Anna B. Lyon, 70, of Henderson died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born June 30, 1931, in Ogdensburg, N.Y. A resident for 10 years, she was a retired cook.
She is survived by one daughter, Lucy Adamo of Yuma, Ariz., one son, Alan Raycroft of Titusville, Fla.; two brothers, Daniel Collett of Chittenango, N.Y., and Oscar W. Collett of Spokane, Wash.; two sisters, Jane Harrington and Iva Bischoff, both of Henderson; and seven grandchildren.

Genevieve Zena McAllister
Genevieve Zena McAllister, 91, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born June 9, 1910, in Rawlings, Md. A resident for 12 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Harry; one daughter, Jean Cline of Augusta, W.Va.; one son, Donald Cline of Charles Town, W.Va.; one stepson, Eugene McAllister of Guerneville, Calif.; five grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and five great great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.
Graveside services will be 10:40 p.m. Wednesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Maria Guadalupe Medina of Las Vegas died Oct. 12, the day she was born.
She is survived by her parents, Gerardo and Maribel Medina, two brothers, and one sister, all of Pahrump.
Visitation is scheduled 7-9 pm. today in Pahrump Family Mortuary, 5441 S. Vicki Ann Road. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church, Pahrump. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery in Pahrump.
Kalliopi Messologitis
Kalliopi Messologitis, 96, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 21, 1905, in Karpathos, Greece. A resident for 31 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by four sons, Bill Messologitis, Michael Messologitis, Nicholas Messologitis and Emmanuel Messologitis, all of Las Vegas; one daughter, Maria Koroneou of Greece; one sister, Irene Nicholas of Baltimore; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church , 5300 S. El Camino Road. Burial will be in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
Alexander Reinharcz
Alexander Reinharcz, 79, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born April 29, 1922, in the Czech Republic. A resident for two years, he was an entrepreneur, Holocaust survivor and an antique car enthusiast.
He is survived by one daughter, Susan Helmer of Las Vegas; one son, Howard Reinharcz of San Francisco; two brothers, Edward Richards of Laguna Hills, Calif., and Michael Reinharcz of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.
Graveside services were scheduled at 1 p.m. today in Paradise Memorial Gardens. Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., handled arrangements.
Ivory DeWayne Rogers
Ivory DeWayne Rogers, 39, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 8, 1961, in Eldorado, Ark. A resident for 37 years, he was a head custodian at the Nevada Test Site.
He is survived by his wife, Tammy; three sons, Ivory D. Rogers II, Derrius Rogers and Urie Rogers, two daughters, Shaundelle Fox and Tayana S. Rogers, and his father, Iv Rogers, all of Las Vegas; and seven sisters, Etta Fleming of Greenville, N.C., and Brenda Potee, Evelyn Ryan, Sharon Rogers, Sheila Rogers, Anetta Taylor and Denise Rogers, all of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled 2-5 p.m. Sunday in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday in Victory Missionary Baptist Church, 500 W. Monroe Ave. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Monday in Eden Vale Memorial Park.
Richard Charles Roy
Richard Charles Roy, 54, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 30, 1947, in Sudbury, Ontario. A resident for 37 years, he was a radio engineer and an antique car restorer.
He is survived by two sons, Ricky Roy and Blair Roy, his mother, Theresa Roy, and one brother, Kenneth Roy, all of Las Vegas; and three sisters, Linda Randolph of Mount Vernon, Wash., Sherron Roy of British Columbia and Cheryl Roy of Escondido, Calif.
Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. services Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.
Leon A. Sacris
Leon A. Sacris, 82, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local care center. He was born Dec. 6, 1918, in the Philippines. A resident for six years, he was a machinist in the metal manufacturing industry and a World War II Philippine Army veteran.
He is survived by four sons, Noli Sacris of Gardner, Kan., Joel Sacris of Chicago, Noel Sacris of Florida and Romeo Sacris of Australia; three daughters, Edna Miralles of the Philippines and Luna Willits and Fe Orcullo, both of Australia; one sister, Nene Sacris of the Philippines; and 11 grandchildren.
Services will be private. Nevada Funeral Service, 2983 Fremont St., handled arrangements.
Jack Smith
Jack Smith, 69, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 3, 1932, in Forest, La. A resident for 30 years, he was a warehouse manager for J.C. Penney and a retired Air Force technical sergeant.
He is survived by one daughter, Debra A. Swarts of Las Vegas; two sons, Jack Smith Jr., of Henderson and Daniel R. Smith of Henderson; one brother, Ray Smith of Sheaveport, La.; and four grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m.-noon Monday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will be 1:20 p.m. Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
Marlene Barbara Sobek
Marlene Barbara Sobek, 52, of Henderson died Wednesday in Henderson. She was born Nov. 19, 1948, in Cleveland. A resident for one week, she was a housewife.
She is survived by her husband, Jim; one son, Dave Koorey Jr., and one daughter, Carla Walsh, both of Steamboat Springs, Colo.; her mother, Irene Step, and one sister, Kathy Lapka, both of Henderson; and two grandchildren.
Services are private. Valley Memorial Crematory, 745 W. Sunset Road No. 16, Henderson, handled arrangements.
