Man shot in front of store

A 29-year-old man was shot to death Thursday after a fight in front of a convenience store.

Gabriel Alspaugh of Las Vegas apparently started to argue with a man sitting on a car in front of a store in the 3000 block of East Charleston near 30th Street at about 7:10 p.m., Metro Police said.

A second man left the store and got into the car as the argument escalated. One of the two suspects got a gun out of the car and shot Alspaugh, police said.

The two men ran from the area. Alspaugh was taken to University Medical Center, where he died at 7:43 p.m.
