Letter: Earlier plane crash resembles Sept. 11 events
Friday, Oct. 19, 2001 | 10:05 a.m.
Given the events of Sept. 11, and what we have learned about terrorist "cells" here in the United States since then, has there been anything mentioned about a possible relation to the Egyptian airliner that went down into the ocean a few years ago and what just happened on Sept. 11 ?
Back then there had been some "talk" about a pilot suicide. The pilot's family was adamant that it could not be the case. Is there any chance that it may have been another example of a terrorist attack that was not only not completed as planned, but simply not recognized as such?
If my memory serves me correctly, didn't the pilot say a last-minute prayer to "Allah" before the plane went down?
Many of the family members of the terrorist bombers who flew into the World Trade Center building are saying the same thing, that it is not possible that "he would do such a thing."
But, sadly, they did.
