A man arrested last week in connection with an Oct. 11 robbery at Palace Station is suspected of four other casino robberies and 32 bank holdups over the past six months, Metro Police said.
Robert Kindell, 24, was arrested Friday at the Silverton hotel after casino employees recognized him from from surveillance video broadcast on local television news that had been taken from the Palace Station robbery, Lt. John Alamshaw said.
Kindell was gambling at the Silverton when he was arrested, police said. Kindell is also a suspect in robberies at the Rio, the Reserve, the Orleans and an earlier robbery at Palace Station.
Kindell is also suspected in scores of bank robberies in the Las Vegas Valley.
Kindell was indicted Wednesday by a federal grand jury on two bank robberies in Henderson, one on Oct. 2 and the other on Aug. 16.
Police allege Kindell used a paint ball gun during the robberies.
