Ethel Davidson, 94, of Las Vegas died Oct. 8 in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 14, 1907, in Missouri. A resident for 20 years, she was a telephone operator.

She is survived by one sister, Ruth Olsman.

Francisca Fernandez

Francisca Fernandez, 76, of Las Vegas died Oct. 10 in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 11, 1925, in Argentina. A resident for two years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, Carlos Fernandez; and five grandchildren.

Michael Van Hanley

Michael Van Hanley, 37, of Las Vegas died Oct. 11 in Las Vegas. He was born July 11, 1964, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, he was a builder for Whitaker Pools and a Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn; one daughter, Amber Leigh Smith; his father and mother, Van and Mable; one brother, Chris Hanseman; and two sisters, Teresa Hanley and Kim Hanley.

Dorcas E. Harris

Dorcas E. Harris, 81, of Las Vegas died Oct. 10 in a local hospital. She was born Sept. 18, 1920, in Missouri. A resident for seven years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by two sons, Richard and Phillip; two daughters, Linda and Carol; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Jay Lamotte Houston

Jay Lamotte Houston, 58, of Henderson died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 16, 1942, in Panguitch, Utah. A resident for five years, he was a pharmacist.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra; one son, Adam Houston of Blythe, Calif.; his mother, Tennys Houston of Washington; one brother, Bruce Houston, and one sister, Annette Julander, both of Salt Lake; and one grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Additional visitation will be 10 a.m. until noon services Saturday in Utah.

Lindacarol K. Kong

Lindacarol K. Kong, 53, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospice. She was born Oct. 23, 1947, in Honolulu. A resident for five months, she was a drugstore bookkeeper.

She is survived by her husband, Darrel; one son, Darrel Jr.; one daughter, Darilyn; four brothers, Robert, Richard Llewelyn and Willie; eight sisters, Ruth, Diane, Regina, Renette, Victoria, Vivian, Eadie and Sandie; and five grandchildren.

Katherine E. Lamb

Katherine E. Lamb, 85, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local care center. She was born Oct. 4, 1916, in Steger, Ill. A resident for 28 years, she was a pharmacy clerk and a member of Family of Four Mother of Many.

She is survived by one daughter, Sheila Larsen of Las Vegas; three sons, Dennis Lamb of Seattle, Gary Lamb of San Diego and Randall Lamb of Santa Barbara, Calif.; and three grandchildren.

Lillian M. Loguzzo

Lillian M. Loguzzo, 78, of Henderson died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born July 21, 1923, in Chicago. A resident for 11 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Anthony; two sons, Anthony Loguzzo of Burbank, Calif., and John Loguzzo of Brentwood, Calif.; two daughters, Kathleen Ferris of Antioch, Calif., and Judith Donahoe of Henderson; two brothers, Frank Laschiazza of Los Angeles and Alfred Laschiazza of Henderson; one sister, Juliet Affonso of Panarama City, Calif.; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Additional visitation is scheduled 9-11 a.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, Henderson. Services will be 1 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, Henderson.

Murray Loitz

Murray Loitz, 81, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born April 9, 1920, in New York. A resident for 32 years, he was an oil company owner and an Army veteran.

He is survived by three sons, Charles Loitz, Phillip Loitz and Douglas Loitz; one brother, Eli Loitz; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Robert H. Marsh

Robert H. Marsh, 78, of Cal-Nev-Ari died Sunday in California. A resident for 10 years, he was a volunteer firefighter for the Clark County Fire Department, World War II Army veteran and a member of the Masons, Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion, American Society of Safety Engineers and Veterans Safety.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou; three daughters, Corine Serjeant of Ketchikan, Alaska, Virginia Kent and Beverly Kelley, both of Battle Creek, Mich.; three sons, Richard Marsh of Springfield, Ohio, James Marsh of Gaylord, Mich., and Randy Marsh of Monrovia, Calif.; three sisters, Phyllis Holler of Florida and Barbara French and Marilyn Haines, both of Pontiac, Mich.; 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation was scheduled 2-4:30 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.

Tomiko Koide Milne

Tomiko Koide Milne, 76, of North Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 19, 1925, in Shizuoka, Japan. A resident for 28 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas; one son, John F. Milne, and one daughter, Yumi Wong, both of Las Vegas; and three grandchildren.

Burial will be in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., handled arrangements.

Albert Anthony Ochs

Albert Anthony Ochs, 81, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospice. He was born Jan. 21, 1920, in New York. A resident for 15 years, he was a bar owner and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Marian; one son, Albert A. Ochs of Los Angeles; two daughters, Judy Zinman and Lori Brownfield, both of Orange County, Calif.; one sister, Gertrude Dillon of Boston, Mass.; and two grandchildren.

Robert A. Pierce

Robert A. Pierce, 58, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 9, 1942, in Oklahoma City. A resident for 23 years, he was a self-employed painter.

He is survived by his wife, Monwilla; one daughter, Rhonda A. King, and one son, Brian D. Pierce, both of Las Vegas; one brother, Everett L. Pierce of Payette, Idaho; one sister, Pat Harrington of Porterville, Calif.; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Vernon Posey Thompson

Vernon Posey Thompson, 80, of Henderson died Friday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 9, 1920, in Kentucky. A resident for 23 years, he was a dealer at the Railroad Pass Casino and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by one son, John Borders of Bellville, Ill.; four daughters, Vicki Cota of Henderson and Cynthia Dietz, Wyndee Goodwill and Melissa Thompson, all of Las Vegas; one sister, Mary Lilly Hooper of Henderson, Ky; eight grandchildren and one grandchild.

A memorial service will be noon Friday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Burial will be 2 p.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Irene Todd

Irene Todd, 71, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Oct. 10, 1930, in Shreveport, La. A resident for 14 years, she was a retired quality control inspector in the electronics industry.

She is survived by one daughter, Yolanda Walker of Las Vegas; five sons, Artney Todd Jr., of Las Vegas, Michael Todd of Rancho Cordova, Calif., Jerel Todd of Sacramento, Calif., Jeffrey Todd of Long Beach, Calif., and Reginald Todd of Crescent City, Calif.; 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Scott Jeffery Tripp

Scott Jeffery Tripp, 45, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 2, 1956, in Washington. A longtime resident, he was a carpenter.

He is survived by one daughter, Stephanie Mitchell of Great Falls, Mont.; his father, Wayne C. Tripp, and his mother, Maureen Clayson Powell-Tripp, both of Montana.

No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Great Falls, Mont. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Isabel Torres Valdez

Isabel Torres Valdez, 63, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born July 2, 1938, in Mexico. A resident for six years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth Valdez and Maria Valdez, both of Las Vegas; four sons, Vianey Valdez of Mexico and Jose Luis Valdez, Miguel A. Valdez and Ricardo Valdez, all of Las Vegas; four sisters, Hortenica Torres of Mexico and Adolfa Torres, Nina Anderson and Alicia Torres; three brothers, Fernando Torres of Colorado, Natolio Torres of Las Vegas and Parmeno Torres of Mexico.

Rose E. Verruso

Rose E. Verruso, 87, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born June 2, 1914, in Ensley, Ala. A resident for eight years, she was a retired manager/seamstress for a dress factory.

She is survived by one son, Robert J. Verruso of Las Vegas; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m. until noon services Friday in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1811 Pueblo Vista Drive.

Frank R. Ward Jr.

Frank R. Ward Jr., 80, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born June 5, 1921, in Salt Lake City. A resident for nine years, he was a retired sales representative for a wholesale company, World War II Army veteran and a member of the Elks in Fullerton, Calif.

He is survived by two daughters, Mary Kay Mortensen of Riverside, Calif., and Terry Green of Las Vegas; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday in Green Valley Presbyterian Church, 1798 Wigwam, Henderson. Graveside services will be noon Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
