Wade Leon Albertson

Wade Leon Albertson, 39, of Las Vegas and Pahrump died Sunday in Las Vegas. A resident for 19 years, he was an assembler of modular housing and a Marine Corps veteran.

He is survived by his former wife, Bonnie Albertson of Pahrump; one daughter, Brandy Marie Albertson, and one stepson, Michael Cook, both of Pahrump; one stepdaughter, Michelle Cook, and his parents, Warren L. and Barbara A. Albertson, all of Las Vegas; two sisters, Brenda H. Lowey of San Marcus, Calif., and Carroll L. Denney of Las Vegas; and three grandchildren.

Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., is handling private arrangements.

Gilda Anderson

Gilda Anderson, 78, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local care center. She was born Nov. 30, 1922, in Michigan. A resident for 11 years, she was a singer and a member of the Founder of Society of Singers.

She is survived by one daughter, Julie McDougall of Henderson; one brother, Ray Ascenzo of Michigan; and two grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Friday in St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 130 N. Pecos Road, Henderson.

Howard Q. Archer

Howard Q. Archer, 75, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 29, 1926, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 20 years, he was an officer with the New York City Transit Authority.

He is survived by one son, Richard A. Archer, and one sister, Ruth Connelly, both of Brooklyn.

American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane, is handling private arrangements.

Alice Pena Armijo

Alice Pena Armijo, 64, of Henderson died Saturday in Henderson. She was born Oct. 6, 1937, in Winslow, Ariz. A resident for seven years, she was a retired cook.

She is survived by her husband, Fidencio; three sons, Charles Armijo of Houston and Stephen Armijo and Joseph Armijo, both of Henderson; one daughter, Lynda Sedillo of Henderson; two brothers, Eloy Avalos of Hisperia, Calif., and Ned Avalos of Parker, Ariz.; and nine grandchildren.

Mass will be celebrated 3 p.m. Friday in St. Peter's Catholic Church, 204 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. American Cremation and Burial Services, 310 Foremaster Lane is handling arrangements.

Michael Joseph Campa

Michael Joseph Campa, 38, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Milford, Conn. He was born Sept. 26, 1963, in Norfolk, Va. A resident for seven years, he was a police officer and a Marine Corps veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Lucie; four daughters, Lauren, Vera, Letizia and Jessica, his mother, Dottie Kiley, and two sisters, Lisa Ashley and Faith Christie, all of Las Vegas; one brother, Joseph Kiley of Round Rock, Texas; and one grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Services will be 9 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, Cheyenne. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens.

William Carlock, 81, of Las Vegas died Sept. 1 in Las Vegas. He was born April 5, 1920.

Helen Ann Daniels

Helen Ann Daniels, 75, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Henderson. She was born March 2, 1926, in Chicago. A resident for 27 years, she was a retired Joseph Magnin sales associates and a member and past president of the Desert Springs Volunteer Woman Auxiliary.

She is survived by her husband, Vincent; three sons, Paul Pacult of New York state and Rick Pacult and Dennis Daniels, both of Las Vegas; one sister, Harriet Koldon of Las Vegas; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Services were scheduled at 11 a.m. today in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Burial was in Paradise Memorial Gardens.

Ruth Claire Deutsch

Ruth Claire Deutsch, 76, of Boulder City died Saturday in Boulder City. She was born Aug. 28, 1925, in Kalispell, Mont. A resident for 23 years, she was a retired dental assistant and a member of the Boulder City Art Guild.

She is survived by her husband, Dr. Tom Deutsch; one daughter, Kim Alexander of Mesa, Ariz.; five sons, Edward Foy of Columbia Falls, Mont., Dennis Foy of Missoula, Mont., Dr. Wayne Deutsch of Bethesda, Md., Thomas P. Deutsch of Butte, Mont., and Daniel Deutsch of Minneapolis; two sisters, Opal Loveless of Polson, Mont., and Shirley Slayden of Lakeport, Calif.; and 20 grandchildren.

Visitation is private. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Graveside services will be noon Wednesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Sandra Lee Evers

Sandra Lee Evers, 41, of Henderson died Saturday in a local hospice. She was born Oct. 15, 1959, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 12 years, she was a homemaker and a member of the Mothers of Twins Club.

She is survived by her husband, William; one daughter, Brianna Evers, two sons, Michael Evers and Samuel Evers, and her parents, Nessa and Pino Spighi, all of Henderson; and one sister, Audrey Joy Connolly of Stamford, Conn.

Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.

Robert Louis Frazier

Robert Louis Frazier, 64, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born May 3, 1937, in Upper Darby, Pa. A resident for 30 years, he was a Titanium Metals foreman.

He is survived by his wife, Mariam; and two sons, Robert L. Frazier Jr., and Michael J. Frazier, both of Las Vegas.

Joy Kerestesi

Joy Kerestesi, 78, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born March 5, 1923, in Emmett, Idaho. A resident for 45 years, she was a member of the PEO.

She is survived by her husband, Frank; one daughter, Linda McKinley of Las Vegas; and four grandchildren.

Erik Clifton Loshaw

Erik Clifton Loshaw, 26, of Henderson died Saturday in Henderson. He was born July 21, 1975, in Petosky, Mich. He was a valet attendant.

He is survived by his wife, Desiree; his parents, Harold and Rheta Loshaw, and one sister, Angeliek Loshaw, all of Henderson; and one brother, Jacob Loshaw of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Central Christian Church, 1001 New Beginnings Drive, Henderson.

Paul A. Martinez

Paul A. Martinez, 74, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born July 4, 1927, in Brighton, Colo. A resident for 44 years, he was a retired general contractor, World War II Navy veteran and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He is survived by his wife, Ona; one daughter, Ilene Mansager of San Diego; five sons, Mark Martinez of Atwater, Calif., Edward Martinez of Springfield, Mo., and Paul B. Martinez, Larry Dalton and Jerry Dalton, all of Las Vegas; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A memorial service was scheduled at noon today at the family's home. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., handled arrangements.

Betty Massimo

Betty Massimo, 73, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 19, 1928, in Johnstown, Pa. A resident for nine years, she was a field assistant for the police department.

She is survived by her husband, Dominic; one daughter, Constance Massimo, and one son, Eugene Massimo, both of Hawthorne, Calif.; one sister, Dolores Fitzsimmons of Las Vegas; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Yolanda Irene Melillo, 77, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born April 27, 1924, in Freeport, Pa. A resident for 13 years, she was a retired clerk for the Postal Service.

She is survived by one son, Harry Belcastro of North Las Vegas; one daughter, Diane DiOrio of Las Vegas; one sister, Helen Tatrai of Munhall, Pa.; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, Eastern. Burial will be in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Robert L. Nolen

Robert L. Nolen, 60, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Elko. He was born Sept. 10, 1941, in Gunter, Texas.

He is survived by his wife, Cindy; four daughters, Sherry Ridge of Round Lake Beach, Ill., Robin Hardee of Hillsborough, N.C., and Vicky Terry and Shelli Lawton, both of Las Vegas; two sons, Rob Nolen and Dave Webster, both of Las Vegas; his mother, Mildred Nolen, one brother Rod Nolen, and two sisters, Joy Adair and Sue Edwards, all of North Las Vegas; and nine grandchildren.

Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.

Brandon John Port

Brandon John Port, 20, of Pahrump died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 9, 1981, in Oxnard, Calif. A resident for 10 years, he was a cabinet maker.

He is survived by his companion, Teresa Falcone, his parents, Paul and Deborah Port Jr., one brother, Damon Port, and one sister, Cassandra Port, all of Pahrump; and his grandparents, Annie Calderwood of Las Vegas, Paul Port Sr., of Cheyenne, Wyo., and Art and Barbara Dalton of Sanford, Maine.

Shirley Reitler

Shirley Reitler, 74, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospice. She was born Dec. 6, 1926, in Primate, Saskatchewan. A resident for 10 years, she was retired from a sewing business.

She is survived by two daughters, Therese Reitler and Mary Ann Reitler, and one son, Bruce Reitler, all of Las Vegas; one sister, Yonne Pavelakes of Pomona, Calif.; and four grandchildren.

Services will be 3:30 p.m. Friday in St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church, 1111 Michael Way. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Armando 'Robert' Reyes

Armando "Robert" Reyes, 65, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 4, 1935, in Cavite City, Philippines. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired Navy chief petty officer and Vietnam War veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Jolene; one daughter, Corrina Reyes of Illinois; two sons, Armando Reyes of California and Jesse Lauer of Las Vegas; and three brothers, Edwardo Reyes, Samuel Reyes and Andrew Reyes, all of Hawaii.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph, Husband of Mary Catholic Church, 7260 W. Sahara Ave. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Robert E. Roth, 58, of Las Vegas died Aug. 26 in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 23, 1942, in Kansas City, Mo. He was a plasterer and an Air Force veteran.

Sally Lee Ruma

Sally Lee Ruma, 66, of Las Vegas died Oct. 9 in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 25, 1935, in Omaha, Neb. A resident for six years, she was a hospital secretary.

She is survived by her husband, Carmelo; two sons, Carmelo Ruma Jr., and Christopher Ruma; one daughter, Ranae Ruma; and one grandchild.

A memorial service will be noon Wednesday in St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 4519 Simmons St., North Las Vegas. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Rose Shapiro

Rose Shapiro, 82, of Las Vegas died Sunday. She was born March 6, 1919, in Rhode Island. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, Steven Shapiro.

Stella Stankiewicz

Stella Stankiewicz, 85, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospice. She was born May 22, 1916, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 20 years, she was a dance instructor.

She is survived by three sons, William Stanton of Las Vegas and Ronald Stankiewicz and Raymond Stankiewicz, both of New York; nine grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.

Visitation was scheduled 1-3 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., handled arrangements.

She is survived by her husband, Everett; one daughter, Tina Walton, and one son, Loni Walton, both of Las Vegas; her parents, George and Betty Sheriff, both of Canyon City, Colo.; five brothers, George Sheriff Jr., of Canyon City, Ron Sheriff of Spencer, Iowa, Gary Sheriff of Las Vegas and Rick Sheriff and Tim Sheriff, both of Cedar Rapids; one sister, Nancy Sisco of Cedar Rapids; and two grandchildren.

Thomas Stanley Wesoloski

Thomas Stanley Wesoloski, 48, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 1, 1953, in Illinois. A longtime resident, he was a Marine Corps veteran.

He is survived by his mother, Shirley Olson of Berwyn, Ill.
