Letter: Worried about Bush’s direction

Many politicians and military officials at the time knew the Japanese were going to attack Pearl Harbor, but did little to stop it. What was in the mind of this government over the past several years when it let into this country countless numbers of foreigners, many with questionable backgrounds?

We lost thousands of Americans and others and stand to lose thousands more, because of liberal-minded stupidity.

I voted for President Bush to end this stupidity and others like it. My worst nightmare is that he becomes a wolf in sheep's clothing (a conservative who leans toward liberalism).

If this happens, God help us all.
