Dale L. Becker
Dale L. Becker, 69, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 6, 1931, in Richfield, Neb. A resident for 31 years, he was a retired Air Force master sergeant and Vietnam War veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Donna; one son, Jeff Becker, and one daughter, Julie Becker, both of Las Vegas; one sister, Lucille Becker of Papillion, Neb.; two brothers, Delmar Becker of Fremont, Neb., and Marvin Becker of Lower Lake, Calif.; and one grandchild.
A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
The family suggests donations to the American Heart Association, 6370 W. Flamingo Road, Suite 1, Las Vegas, NV 89103, or the American Cancer Society, 1325 E. Harmon Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
Sheldon Bialik
Sheldon Bialik, 71, of Las Vegas died Oct. 2 in Las Vegas. He was born May 8, 1930, in Chicago. A resident for five years, he was a retail salesman and an Army veteran.
He is survived by two sons, Marc D. Bialik and Bruce M. Bialik.
Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Marylyn Daggett
Marylyn Daggett, 65, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 30, 1935, in Los Angeles. A resident for nine years, she was a retired teacher's aide.
She is survived by her husband, Rod; one son, Jim Daggett of Chicago; one daughter, Lynne Kellar of Priddis, Alberta; one sister, Peggy Carroll of Ventura, Calif.; and two grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.
The family suggests donations to Children Affected by Aids Foundation, 233 E. Erie St., Suite 700, Chicago, IL 60611.
Jose Diaz
Jose Diaz, 46, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 19, 1955, in Durango, Mexico. A resident for six years, he was a shipping and receiving clerk for a roofing material firm.
He is survived by his wife, Magdalena; three sons, Eddie Reclusado of California and Dario Diaz and Pablo Diaz, both of Las Vegas; and four grandchildren.
Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Vallarie Leigh Dolly
Vallarie Leigh Dolly, 26, of Henderson died Wednesday in Henderson. She was born April 29, 1975, in Frankfort, Germany. A resident for five years, she was an assistant general manager at the Hard Rock Cafe.
She is survived by her husband, Paul; one daughter, Breeze Ann Dolly of Henderson; her mother, Teresa den Haring, and her grandparents, Breeze Ann and Ronald J. Hammer, all of Palm Desert, Calif.
Visitation will continue until 8 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 8:30 a.m. Thursday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Graveside services will be 10:40 a.m. Thursday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
Richard Herbert Manahl
Richard Herbert Manahl, 80, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. A retired Army veteran and World War II, Korean War and Vietnam War veteran, he was born March 13, 1921, in Waterloo, Iowa.
He is survived by his wife, Florence; and four daughters, Gail Manahl of Foster City, Calif., Sue Manahl of Salinas, Calif., Janis Alderson of Fort Bragg, Calif., and Cheryl Cariker of Las Vegas.
A graveside service was scheduled at 2 p.m. today in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
The family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society, 1325 E. Harmon Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
Shellie Brooker Northington
Shellie Brooker Northington, 69, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. A longtime resident, he was born July 25, 1932, in Tennessee.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret.
Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m. Thursday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
William Parrish
William Parrish, 82, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. A home builder, he was born June 5, 1919, in Texas.
He is survived by one daughter, Bev Walsh of Arlington, Texas.
No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Texas. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Dolly H. Poe
Dolly H. Poe, 84, of Las Vegas died Oct. 3 in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 16, 1916, in Ohio. A resident for four years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two daughters, Mary M. Robinson and Darlene Radcliff, and three sons, Charles Walter Harris, Carlos Harris and Richard Harris, all of Ohio; and 21 grandchildren.
No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Ohio. American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane, is handling arrangements.
Ben Roberts Sr.
Ben Roberts Sr., 97, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 24, 1904, in Louisiana. A resident for one month, he was a laborer at Penzoil Oil Co.
He is survived by one son, Ben Roberts Jr.; two daughters, Jonnie Mae and Mary Ruth; two brothers, Columbus and Joseph; and one grandchild.

Linda D. Ross
Linda D. Ross, 52, of Browns Mill, N.J., died Saturday in a New Jersey hospital. She was born Oct. 11, 1948, in New York City. A resident for 45 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Michael; two daughters, Gina Spaulding of Henderson and Stefani Stiles of Las Vegas; her father, Walter Caceres of New York City; her mother, Dolores Spizzuco Meier, and one sister, JoAnn Meier, both of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. services today in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday in St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church, 1111 Michael Way. Burial will be 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Memory Gardens, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road.
Venetia 'Vinnie' Sardelli
Venetia "Vinnie" Sardelli, 41, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 11, 1960, in Wichita Falls, Texas. A resident for 35 years, she was a poet and craftswoman.
She is survived by one daughter, Indrani Sardelli, and her parents, Fledia and Nelson Sardelli, all of Las Vegas; and two sisters, Giovanna Sardelli of New York City and Pietra Sardelli of Las Vegas.
A memorial service will be 3:30 p.m. Thursday in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd. Burial will be private.
Teresa Lynn Simpson
Teresa Lynn Simpson, 81, of North Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born June 4, 1920, in Little Rock, Ark. A resident for three years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Norman L.; three daughters, Rita R. Massey of North Las Vegas, Marcia E. Broussard of San Mateo, Calif., and Lisa J. Moore of Rochester, N.Y.; four sons, Darrell E. Simpson and Norman J. Simpson, both of Champaign, Ill., and Kim A. Simpson and Duncan Eric Simpson, both of Urbana, Ill.; one sister, Addie Lynn of Decatur, Ill.; one brother, Louis J. Lynn of Buton, Mich.; 26 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. services Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

Millie P. Weakley
Millie P. Weakley, 88, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local health care center. She was born Dec. 2, 1912, in Castle Gate, Utah. A resident for 51 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two daughters, Carolee Kientz of Las Vegas and Sirrell Hart of St. George, Utah; two sons, Michele Whitney of Las Vegas and Randall Whitney of Elko; one sister, Iona Williamson of Seattle; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Thursday in Memory Gardens, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.
Martha Yaksich
Martha Yaksich, 88, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. A homemaker, she was born July 1, 1913, in West Virginia.
She is survived by one son, Rudy Taksich of Port Clinton, Ohio.
No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Pittsburgh. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
