LVCVA launches toll-free phone number

The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority announced the launch of a new toll-free phone number, 877-VISIT-LV, and a redesigned version of its official Internet website at www.vegasfreedom.com.

The LVCVA said both resources allow visitors to make room reservations and to take advantage of special promotions.

The toll-free number is operator-assisted.

"The great deals section of vegasfreedom.com and our new toll-free number are first-time features for Las Vegas," said Rossi Ralenkotter, vice president of marketing for the LVCVA. "These new tools were added based on feedback we received from Las Vegas visitors who told us they wanted more information and great values."

Vegasfreedom.com also offers an "airport information" link to provide travelers with up-to-the-minute details about Las Vegas' McCarran Airport. Another new section called "entertainment highlights" provides details on upcoming high profile events.
