2001 Invensys Classic PGA Tournament facts

WHEN/WHERE: Wednesday through Sunday at the Tournament Players Club at Summerlin, the Tournament Players Club at the Canyons and Southern Highlands Golf Club. Saturday's and Sunday's rounds will be played only at TPC at Summerlin, the tournament's home course.
PURSE: $4.5 million. The winner will receive $810,000.
FORMAT: 144 professionals and 432 amateurs. The pro-am will be played in foursomes consisting of one professional and three amateurs Wednesday through Friday. The pro field will be cut to the low 70 scores and ties following Friday's round. Approximately 20 of the low amateurs will play with a tour professional on Saturday. On Sunday, the field will be professionals only.
ADMISSION: Daily tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the gate of all three courses. Season badges are $50 and badges that include access to the clubhouse are $100.
TELEVISION: ESPN (Cox Cable Channel 19) will televise the tournament Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from noon to 3 p.m., Saturday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
ADVISORY: No cell phones or cameras are allowed.
