Thomas M. Abernathy of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born April 9, 1913, in Missouri. A resident for 39 years, he was an oil driller.
He is survived by one daughter, Una Scott; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Steven F. Adkins
Steven F. Adkins, 54, of Las Vegas died Monday in Henderson. Born March 9, 1947, in California, he was a truck driver and a Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Pat; two sons, Jeffrey Adkins of Boulder, Colo., and Eric Bell of Auburn, Wash.; two daughters, Kimberly Adkins of Orlando, Fla., and Kristen Hartley of Auburn; his parents, Frederick and Eleanore Adkins, and one brother, Ronald Bort, all of Fresno; and one sister, Judy Pierson of Eureka, Calif.
Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday in St. Rose Dominican Hospital, Siena Campus Chapel, 3001 St. Rose Parkway, Henderson. Burial will be in Nampo, Idaho. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Suzanne Aldershof
Suzanne Aldershof, 47, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Sept. 24, 1954, in Caliente. A resident for 36 years, she was a VIP service manager for the Desert Inn from 1994 until its closing.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas; two sons, Thomas L. Aldershof II and Matthew A. Aldershof, one daughter, Crystal L. Aldershof, her mother, Barbara Leary; her stepfathers, Ray Leary and William G. Bobier, and two brothers, Warren Cutler and Royal G. Cutler, all of Las Vegas; and four sisters, Jannette Coggins of Columbia, S.C., Karen Rushton of Nacogdoches, Texas, Linda Cutler of Las Vegas and Barbara Ewing of LaMesa, Calif.
Visitation is scheduled 5-8 p.m. today in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in the LDS Fort Apache Ward, 9825 W. Desert Inn Road. Burial will be in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
Al Dalke
Al Dalke, 84, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local care center. He was born March 23, 1917, in Chicago. A resident for 11 years, he was a retired foreman for a gas company.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Sabina; one daughter, Sandra Martin of Santa Barbara, Calif.; three sons, Robert Dalke of Las Vegas, Jerry Dalke of Carpentersville, Ill., and Alan Dalke of Fox Lake, Wis.; one brother, Howard Bandelin of Buena Park, Calif.; 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.

Ralph J. Di Bianco, 77, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born July 7, 1924, in New York City. A resident for 39 years, he was a retired insurance broker and a World War II Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Odile; three sons, Walter Leake of Henderson, Raphael M. Di Bianco of Las Vegas and Ralph Di Bianco of La Jolla, Calif.; four daughters, Deborah Malott of Sausalito, Calif., Gail Buch of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Donna Morgan and Marci Cauton, both of Las Vegas; one brother, Anthony Di Bianco of Bergenfield, N.J.; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Leota M. Dunn
Leota M. Dunn, 83, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 15, 1917, in Brandon, Manitoba. A resident for seven years, she was retired and best known in the United States for co-authoring a number of educational tests and instructional programs for children with disabilities, including the Peabody Picture Vocabulary test. She recently funded scholarships at Fisk University and Research Professorship at Vanderbilt University, both in Nashville, Tenn.
She is survived by her husband, Dr. Lloyd M. Dunn; one son, Dr. Douglas M. Dunn; and four grandchildren.

He is survived by his companion, Delores; one daughter, Shawnica Davis of North Las Vegas; four sons, Scott Davis of Japan and Kentrell Welch, Larry Earl and Albert Davis, all of North Las Vegas; his mother, Willie Mae Poole, five brothers, Laungra Earl, Jimmy Earl, Demetrius Earl, Ronnie Roach, Robert Poole, and two sisters, Jackie Smith and Sondra Carter, all of Las Vegas; and one grandchild.

She is survived by her mother, Brenda Ellison; one brother, Jack D. Ewing of California; her grandparents, Kathy and Glen Snodgrass; her great-grandmother, Ruth; and her boyfriend, Jeremiah Jones.

Leontina W. Enfield, 91, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local care center. She was born Feb. 13, 1910, in South Dakota. A resident for 13 years, she was a cook.
She is survived by two sons, Lloyd Puepke of Las Vegas and Daniel Enfield of Findley, North Dakota; one daughter, Verla Maie Wilson of Las Vegas; seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren.

Donald Paul Fankhauser, 70, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 6, 1931, in Sheffield Lake, Ohio. A resident for 30 years, he was a retired Air Force technical sergeant.
He is survived by two daughters, Sgt. Donna Fankhauser of Rhinelander, Wis., and Sandra Stevens of Las Vegas; one brother, Edward Fankhauser Jr., of Sheffield; and two grandchildren.
Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Celia Goldstein, 85, of Henderson died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born May 14, 1916, in New York. A resident for five years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by three sons, Iru Goldstein of Henderson, Stephen Goldstein of Washington, D.C., and Burt Goldstein of New Jersey; one daughter, Isabel Goldstein of Henderson; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Fred G. Holzbauer
Fred G. Holzbauer, 80, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born May 24, 1921, in Chicago. A resident for 33 years, he was Navy military store keeper and World War II, Vietnam War and Korean War veteran, and a member of the American Legion Post 8 and Navy Fleet Reserve Association.
He is survived by one son, John Bowen; one daughter, Kathleen Bowen; and one brother, Leonard Holzbauer of Las Vegas.

Dennis Y. Izumi, 58, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 5, 1943, in Honolulu. A resident for 9 1/2 years, he was a retired plumber and a member of the Las Vegas Hawaiian Golf Club and the Pipefitters Union in Hawaii.
He is survived by his wife, Maizie; two sons, Brian K. Izumi of Las Vegas and Mark T. Izumi of Kaneohe, Hawaii; one daughter, Denise D. Izumi of Las Vegas; his stepmother, Chiyoko Izumi, and one brother, Richard Izumi, both of Honolulu; three sisters, Elaine Nakamura of Hawi, Hawaii, and Mildred Uyeoka and Rumi Miyauchi, both of Honolulu; and five grandchildren.

Thelma R. Jones, 71, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Sept. 11, 1930, in Kosciusko, Miss. A resident for 44 years, she was a retired hotel pantry worker.
She is survived by her mother, Bessie Ramsey, seven daughters, Katherine Johnson, Sandra Taylor, Sharon Taylor, Audrey Lay, Loretha Alegre and Tammie Lavender, all of Las Vegas; five sons, Dennis Lay of Portland, Ore., Charles Lay Jr., Dwight Mallet, Randy Dodd and Clayton Jones, all of Las Vegas; one stepdaughter, Mary Woods of Las Vegas; one sister, Willie Mae Murray of Sacramento; two brothers, Roosevelt Dodd of Biloxi, Miss., and Harry Dodd of Las Vegas; 35 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Henry, both of Las Vegas; her father, Spurgeon Lay; her mother Rosie Lay-Thrower, and two brothers, Troy Simon and Dave Simon, all of Las Vegas; two sisters, Mary Simon-Knight of Las Vegas and Vickie Lay of Muskegon, Mich.; and six grandchildren.

Eddie Lee Littlejohn, 71, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local care center. She was born Feb. 23, 1930, in Bullard, Texas. A resident for 32 years, she was a housekeeper, schoolteacher, social worker and a member of Poor People Pulling Together.
She is survived by her husband, Lawrence; one daughter, Saundra Bayson of Dallas; eight sisters, Hattie Moore of Dallas, Lessie McKellar of Las Vegas, Emma Ruth Jones of Chandler, Texas, Queen Esther Owens of Austin, Texas, Reedie Busby and Karemn Granberry, both of Tyler, Texas, and Bobbie Schuford and Rose McKellar, both of Fort Worth, Texas; four brothers, Roosevelt McKellar and Henry McKellar, both of Tyler, and L.C. McKellar and Donald McKellar, both of Fort Worth; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Rev. Bruno V. Massacavollo, 53, of Las Vegas died Sept. 25 in a local care center. He was born June 5, 1948, in Chicago. A resident four years, he was a priest and a fourth degree member of the Knights of Columbus and Italian Catholic Federation.

He is survived by his companion, Ruth White of Boulder City; one daughter, Valerie White of Henderson; one son, Charles A. Phillips of Las Vegas; two sisters, Thelma Lowe of West Valley City, Utah, and Edna Phillips of Caliente; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Lillian M. Rhodes, 70, of North Las Vegas died Thursday in North Las Vegas. She was born April 3, 1931, in West Columbia, Texas. A resident for 63 years, she was a retired schoolteacher and a member of the Gamma Phi Delta Sorority and the Prairie View Alumni Association.
She is survived by two daughters, Pamela Brimmer of Las Vegas and Regina DuBose of North Las Vegas; one son, John K. Rhodes of North Las Vegas; two sisters, Jessie Bullard and Eula Cole, both of West Columbia; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Michiyo; and one son, Glen Scheifer of Lolo Springs, Colo.
