The Southern Nevada Golf Association is seeking nominations for the SNGA Hall of Fame.
Nominations of worthy individuals must be received by the association no later than Nov. 30 at 3590 E. Patrick Lane, Las Vegas, NV, 89120. Typed letters of nomination would be preferable, but legible hand-written ones will be accepted. Nominations must be signed by the originator.
Please note that the nominee must have been a resident of Nevada during the period for which the accomplishments are being recognized.
The criteria for nominations are as follows:
For all of the above categories, list the positions of employment or offices held within specific organizations during the period for which the nominee's performance is being recognized. Develop a chronological listing starting with the most current time period.
Nominations should include a detailed description of the nominee's achievements that made significant contributions to golf in Southern Nevada.
The Southern Nevada Golf Association Hall of Fame originated in 1991 with a charter to induct worthy individuals every four years. The original four inductees were Jerry Belt, Clyde Cobb, Stuart Reid and Charlie Teel. At the last meeting in 1997, James Cashman, Jr., Ernest Haupt and Pat Walker were the inductees.
