LV tech company names CFO

Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2001 | 9:28 a.m.

Las Vegas software firm PurchasePro has hired Mark Donachie as chief financial officer.

The appointment will allow the firm's chief executive, Richard Clemmer, to relinquish his second title of CFO.

Donachie, 41, who started at PurchasePro Sept. 24, came from Sterling Commerce, a subsidiary of telecommunications giant SBC Communications, where he served as vice president of finance for seven years.

Clemmer was hired as chief financial officer last spring, but was elevated to CEO in June following the departure of the company's founder Charles "Junior" Johnson.
