While necessary, finding those who attacked our country will do little to protect us unless the failed foreign and security policies that led to the Sept. 11 disaster are changed.
We do not adequately protect our own borders. Instead, we have been engaged in killing and making enemies of people around the world fighting wars for the United Nations.
We have poured billions of dollars into federal agencies to prevent terrorist attacks. Why did they fail?
If we want to avoid future attacks, we must protect our borders, overhaul our security agencies, and get out of the United Nations.
