Bids being accepted in Sun auction
Friday, Nov. 30, 2001 | 10:12 a.m.
There is still time to bid for items in this year's Sun Holiday Auction.
Deadline to bid on merchandise given to us by people behind or associated with stories we report on during the year is Dec. 14.
A full list of items ran in last Friday's Accent section. You can check out the list by visiting the Sun website (lasvegassun.com) and clicking on the Sun Holiday Auction link. Submit your bid with the numbers listed, on a sheet of paper or 3x5 index card (preferred). You can bid on as many items as you like, but each bid must be listed on a separate piece of paper or index card (no exceptions).
On each bid, list the price you are willing to pay for the item, along with your name address, and daytime and evening phone numbers. Mail the information to the Las Vegas Sun Holiday Auction, 2275 Corporate Circle Drive, Suite 300, Henderson, NV 89074. Or drop off your bid at the Las Vegas Sun office at that address, which is on Green Valley Parkway at the I-215 off ramp. The Sun's office is on the third floor.
Send e-mail bids to ron@lasvegassun.com.
All money raised will go to the Sun Youth Summer Camp Fund.
Merchandise can be picked up during business hours (9 a.m.-5 p.m.) at the Sun building beginning Monday, Dec. 17. Winning bidders will be notified by telephone (mail or drop-off bids) or by e-mail. All sales are final.
Please do not call the Sun to inquire about merchandise.
