Margaret Strong Corre
Margaret Strong Corre, 87, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born April 16, 1914, in Texas. A resident for 21 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two daughters, Marsha Corre of Las Vegas and Fredda Kilgore of Fairfield, Pa.; and one grandchild.
Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St., is handling private arrangements.
Johnny Jack Fox
Johnny Jack Fox, 50, of Boulder City died Tuesday in Boulder City. A disabled veteran, he was born Jan. 27, 1951, in Oakland, Calif.
He is survived by two sons, John Kristopher Armbruster of Ogden, Utah, and Gared Bundy Camarillo of California; two sisters, Darcella Boyd of Bountiful, Utah, and Valerie Savage of Peoria, Ariz.
Visitation is scheduled 4-6 p.m. today in Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson. Burial will be private.
Eddie Hilbus
Eddie Hilbus, 72, of Las Vegas died Oct. 18 in Las Vegas. He was born March 3, 1929.
Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery. Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St., handled arrangements.
Duane Dee Philebar
Duane Dee Philebar, 47, of Coeur D'Alene, Idaho, died Saturday in Coeur D'Alene. He was born May 13, 1954, in Davenport, Iowa. A former Las Vegas resident for 30 years, he was a city building inspector and a member of Sigma Chi at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
He is survived by his wife, Deanna; his mother, Marcelline Philebar of Las Vegas; two brothers, Wayne Dennis Philebar of Las Vegas and Dana William Philebar of Shingle Springs, Calif.
Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in Reformation Lutheran Church, 580 E. St. Louis Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
Maurice E. Ringer
Maurice E. Ringer, 80, of North Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. A hotel security officer and a World War II Army veteran, he was born May 11, 1921, in Stockton, Calif.
He is survived by three daughters, Jennifer Ringer of Pleasanton, Calif., Jan Brown of Las Vegas and Jil Anderson of Norristown, Pa.; and eight grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 1:20 p.m. Dec. 3 in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.
John M. Sharp
John M. Sharp, 73, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 21, 1928, in Neodesha, Kan. A resident for 27 years, he was a retired rancher, a Navy veteran, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and Disabled American Veterans.
He is survived by three sons, David Sharp of Phoenix and Andrew Sharp and Dean Sharp, both of Las Vegas; one brother, Richard Sharp of California; one grandchild and one great-grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Monday in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd. Graveside services will be noon Tuesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
The family suggests donations to the Arthritis Foundation of Nevada, 2450 Chandler Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89120.
Grace C. Wiechmann
Grace C. Wiechmann, 90, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born March 18, 1911, in Wall, S.D. A resident for 20 years, she was a retired bookkeeper in the lumber industry.
She is survived by one son, Thomas Wiechmann of Las Vegas; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2-6 p.m. Sunday with a 5 p.m. rosary in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd. Services will be 12:30 p.m. Monday in Davis Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.
Lucille W. Wright
Lucille W. Wright, 88, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 13, 1913, in Verona, Mo. A resident for 45 years, she was a retired teacher and a member of PEO.
She is survived by three sons, Thomas Wright of Las Vegas, John Wright of Pocatello, Idaho, and Roy Wright of Coquille, Ore.; and three grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday in First Presbyterian Church, 1515 W. Charleston Blvd. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.
