Helen Barbara Ahrens

Helen Barbara Ahrens, 84, of Henderson died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born June 29, 1917, in Munger, Mich. A resident for two years, she was a housekeeper.

She is survived by six sons, James Ahrns of Las Vegas, Raymond Ahrns of Henderson; Ronald Ahrns, George Ahrns Jr., and John Paine, all of California and Richard Ahrns of Michigan. one daughter, Marlene Hebb of Las Vegas; 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson.

Walter Bernhauser

Walter Bernhauser, 61, of Henderson died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born March 25, 1940, in Austria. A resident for three months, he was a school district custodian.

He is survived by his wife, Monika Pottler.

No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Austria. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Irene M. Bijak

Irene M. Bijak, 85, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 7, 1916, in Cleveland. A resident for 23 years, she was a retired pharmaceutical clerk and a member of Catholic Daughters of America.

She is survived by two sons, Edmund A. and Jon P.; two daughters, June E. and Nicolina; one sister, Ann; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., handled arrangements.

Dolores M. Bocci

Dolores M. Bocci, 63, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 27, 1938, in San Francisco. A resident for two years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Donald R.; three daughters, Donna L. Mueller of San Jose, Calif., Valerie A. Bocci of Las Vegas and Lori J. Wix of San Mateo, Calif.; one sister, Marilyn Piug of Anaheim, Calif.; two brothers, Bob Cabral of San Jose and John Cabral of Novato, Calif.; and four grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. services Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest, 5701 N. Jones Blvd.

Larry Wayne Culpepper

Larry Wayne Culpepper, 49, of Las Vegas died Nov. 3 in Las Vegas. He was born June 18, 1952, in Hobbs, N.M. A resident for one year, he was a dry waller.

He is survived by one son, Dewayne C. Culpepper; four sisters, Teresa Talley, Gwen Daniel, Andra Johnson and Sandra Fulkerson; and two grandchildren.

Paul Feasel

Paul Feasel, 43, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 5, 1958, in Colorado. A longtime resident, he was a produce manager.

He is survived by his mother, Darline Conley of Colorado.

No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Colorado Springs, Colo. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, handled arrangements.

Willie Fitzpatrick

Willie Fitzpatrick, 79, of Henderson died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 24, 1922, in Bridgeport, Conn. A resident for four years, he was a retired factory machinist, a World War II Army Air Corps veteran and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He is survived by his wife, Marie; two sons, William Fitzpatrick and Wayne Fitzpatrick, both of Henderson; two brothers, Wally Williams and Steven Fitzpatrick, and two sisters, Catherine Spada and Dorothy Hutchinson, all of Stratford, Conn.; and one grandchild.

Graveside services will be 10:40 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Lucille M. Friedman

Lucille M. Friedman, 80, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born May 21, 1921, in Johnstown, Pa. A resident for 29 years, she was a retired saleswoman.

She is survived by her husband, Leonard; two sons, Thomas Fleming of Las Vegas and David Fleming of Sherman Oaks, Calif.; two daughters, Nancy Bauer of Irvine, Calif., and Mary Mosser of Las Vegas; one sister, Barbara Young of Coarse Gold, Calif.; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Liam Gabriel Hoyt, 1 day, of North Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 11, 2001, in Las Vegas.

He is survived by his parents, Barbara and Kevin Hoyt, and one brother, Connor Hoyt, all of North Las Vegas.

Esther Yvonne Kinder

Esther Yvonne Kinder, 87, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospice. She was born May 13, 1914, in Iowa. A resident for five years, she was a retail milliner.

She is survived by three sons, Robert, James and Donald; 10 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Martha D. Knowles

Martha D. Knowles, 81, of Las Vegas died Nov. 7 in Las Vegas. She was born July 4, 1920, in North Carolina. A resident for 31 years, she was a clerk typist for the community college.

She is survived by two sons, Kenneth Knowles of Las Vegas and Robert Knowles of Alaska; one sister, Sophia Dombrowski of New York; and two grandchildren.

Visitation was scheduled one hour prior to a noon service today in Memory Gardens Chapel, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Bill Manning

Bill Manning, 70, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 20, 1931, in Oklahoma City. A resident for 27 years, he was a retired casino shift manager, a Korean War Air Force veteran and a member of the Nevada Rangers.

He is survived by two daughters, Dana Ledford and Lori Manning, and two sons, Ronald Manning and Thomas Fagen, all of Las Vegas; one sister, Delores Ramsey of Oklahoma; two brothers, Jackie Manning of Oklahoma and Rolla Manning of Las Vegas; and three granddaughters.

Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m.-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 1 p.m. Friday in Palm Chapel, Main. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Friday in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Imogene 'Jeanie' Martinovich

Imogene "Jeanie" Martinovich, 76, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 19, 1925, in Arkansas. A resident for 30 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Donda M. Sparling; one son, Anthony D. Martinovich; five grandchildren and two great-grandsons.

A memorial service was scheduled at 11 a.m. today in First Baptist Church, 700 E. St. Louis Blvd. Valley Memorial Crematory, 4855 W. Desert Inn Road, is handling arrangements.

Joe McKee

Joe McKee, 70, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 5, 1931, in Hopkins County, Texas. A resident for two years, he was a steel worker for 21 years and an Army veteran.

He is survived by one daughter, LindaKay Leavitt of Las Vegas; three sons, Johnny Craven of Dallas and Lemuil Craven Jr. and J.W. Craven, both of Las Vegas; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Sunday in Love and Truth Ministries, 2840 Florence Ave. Nevada Funeral Service, 2983 Fremont St., is handling arrangements.

Nicholas Mitrofanis

Nicholas Mitrofanis, 70, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local health care center. He was born Nov. 27, 1930, in Astoria, N.Y. A resident for six years, he was a retired aerospace engineer and a Korean War Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Joanne Mitrofanis of Las Vegas; two daughters, Karen Harris of Longview, Texas, and Connie Kledzik of San Clemente, Calif.; one son, Dean Mitrofanis of Thousand Oaks, Calif.; and five grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.

Robert Allen Parenteau Jr.

Robert Allen Parenteau Jr., 4 days, of Las Vegas died Nov. 3 in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 30, 2001, in Las Vegas.

He is survived by his parents, Robert and Melinda; one brother, Eric; and four sisters, Michelle, Ashley, Shinanne and Reyna.

Alfred Leroy Porter, 61, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. A plant manager, he was born May 17, 1940, in Ohio.

He is survived by one daughter, Christine Porter-Phelps of Brentwood, N.Y.

Ronald Angelo Pro

Ronald Angelo Pro, 49, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 25, 1952, in Layton, Utah. A resident for 14 years, he was a carpenter, a member of Carpenters Local 1977 and owned a handyman company.

He is survived by his wife, June A.; one daughter, Angelia J. Pro of Ogden, Utah; three sons, D'Angelo R. Pro of Ogden and Christopher P. Brown and Anthony N. Brown, both of Issaquah, Wash.; his father, Angelo R. Pro of Monessen, Pa.; one brother, Mike McLeighton of Ogden; two sisters, Shonna Ridge of Clinton, Utah, and Kathy Denning of Washington Terrace, Utah; and six grandchildren.

Anthony Satchell Jr.

Anthony Satchell Jr., 58, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. A construction worker, he was born Jan. 14, 1943, in San Francisco.

He is survived by two sisters, Rahemah Asubia of Los Angeles and Karen Lott of Las Vegas; and two brothers, Folton Satchell and Mikal Satchell, both of Oakland, Calif.

Visitation is scheduled noon-7 p.m. today in Harrison-Ross Mortuaries, 2071 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Harrison-Ross Mortuaries. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.

William H. Silva

William H. Silva, 79, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 13, 1922, in Petroleum, Ohio. A resident for 30 years, he was an electrician, a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and the National Rifle Association.

He is survived by his wife, Betty L.; two sons, William C. Silva of Park City, Utah, and James Silva of Charlotte, N.C.; three daughters, Janice Panek of Fayetteville, Ohio, Jackalyn Silva of Park City, Utah, and Sherry Thomas of West Palm Beach, Fla.; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Eldrige E. Watts

Eldrige E. Watts, 60, of Las Vegas died Saturday in California. He was born June 6, 1941, in Birmingham, Ala. A resident for 19 years, he was a Vietnam War Army veteran.

He is survived by his companion, Lula Lynch of North Las Vegas; four sons, Leonard Williams and Lorenzo Lynch, both of Las Vegas, and Anthony Brock and James Lynch, both of North Las Vegas; three daughters, Valerie Lynch of North Las Vegas and Christal Fisher and Paula Lynch, both of Las Vegas; four brothers, Leonard Watts of Henderson, William Watts of San Pedro, Calif., and Evert Watts and Preston Watts, both of Niles, Mich.; four sisters, Loretta Madison of Compton, Calif., Carylon Gaston of Birmingham and Bernice Watts and Alama Jerkins, both of Chicago.

Ronald E. Weaver, 54, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 21, 1947, in Miles, Mich. A resident for 12 years, he was a chaplain and a Vietnam War Marine Corps veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Janet; his mother, Doris Weaver of Rockford, Ill.; and two sisters, Linda Rockwell of Rockford and Nancy Jensen of Kettering, Ohio.

Dianne Marie White, 44, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born March 22, 1957, in Indianapolis. A resident for 40 years, she was a Clark High School graduate and attended community college for two years.

She is survived by one son, Quin White, and her parents, Queen and Nathaniel Bonty, all of Las Vegas; one brother, Earl Bonty of Las Vegas; three stepbrothers, Steve Bonty of Flint, Mich., Mark Bonty of Anchorage, Alaska, and Nick Stevens of Oakland, Calif.; and one stepsister, Tina Bonty of Denver, Colo.

Linda Marie Wolf

Linda Marie Wolf, 53, of Las Vegas died Nov. 3 in a local hospice. She was born Feb. 28, 1948, in Albany, Ore. A resident for 13 years, she was an executive secretary in the legal industry for 35 years.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald; her mother, Vira Powers of Albany, Ore.; and two sisters, Kathy Griffith of Albany and Sandy Sorrenson of Mesquite.

A celebration of life will be 3-6 p.m. Sunday at 6149 Shawnee Ave. Nevada Funeral Service, 2983 Fremont St., is handling arrangements.
