Robyn K. Barnhurst
Robyn K. Barnhurst, 44, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 18, 1957, in Provo, Utah. A resident for 30 years, she was a clerk for the Clark County School District.
She is survived by her husband, Kelly L.; one daughter, Amanda Lynn Barnhurst, and her mother, Wanda Ivie, both of Las Vegas; one brother, Steve Ivie of Heber City, Utah; and two sisters, Pam Stock of Layton, Utah, and Dianne Ivie-Zdunzyk of Las Vegas.
Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at the LDS First Ward Relief Society, 1300 S. Eighth St. Burial will be in Utah. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.
Fred B. Bear Sr.
Fred B. Bear Sr., 68, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born May 24, 1933, in Alabama. A resident for many years, he was a commercial contractor and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by one son, Fred B. Bear Jr. of Montgomery, Ala.
No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Montgomery. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Mary R. Bond
Mary R. Bond, 86, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born July 18, 1915, in Newark, N.J. A resident for 7 1/2 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons, Art Bond of Nevada and Bob Bond of Florida; one brother, Hank Cerami of New Jersey; one sister, Henrietta Durham of Florida; two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd., is handling private arrangements.
Frank 'Blondie' Capovilla
Frank "Blondie" Capovilla, 70, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 5, 1931, in Chicago. A resident for 11 years, he was a retired wholesale food salesman, a Korean War Army and Marine Corps veteran and member of the 82nd Airborne and was a member of Masonic Lodge 75 in Roscoe, Ill.
He is survived by his wife, JoAnn; one daughter, Kelly Capovilla-Murphy, and one son, Joseph Capovilla, both of Las Vegas; two sisters, Lydia Reola of Rockford, Ill., and Joann Mardon of Fountain Valley, Calif.; one brother, Etalo Capovilla of Rockford, Ill.; and one grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. Sunday with a 6 p.m. rosary in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will be 11:20 a.m. Tuesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
The family suggests contributions to the donor's favorite charity.
Dee Clackum
Dee Clackum, 66, of Henderson died Nov. 7 in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 15, 1935, in Driggs, Idaho. A resident for 54 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter, Kathy Patterson of Henderson; two sons, Bill Clackum of Maryville, Tenn., and Hank Clackum of Las Vegas; two sisters, Jean Baker of Ely and Venus Wood of St. George, Utah; and 13 grandchildren.
Graveside services were scheduled at 9 a.m. today in Eden Vale Memorial Park. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, handled arrangements.
Anthony D'Ambra
Anthony D'Ambra, 61, of North Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 3, 1940, in Providence, R.I. A resident for 38 years, he was a retired bricklayer, owner of D'Ambra Masonry, past president and charter member of the Las Vegas Strip Kiwanis Club and a second degree Knight of Columbus at Our Lady of Las Vegas Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife, Maureen; two sons, Anthony J. D'Ambra of Las Vegas and Michael J. D'Ambra of San Diego; one daughter, Michele K. D'Ambra-Staley of Las Vegas; one sister, Marie McDermott, and one brother, Joseph D'Ambra, both of Warwick, R.I.; and four grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Our Lady of Las Vegas Catholic Church, 3050 Alta Drive. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., handled arrangements.

Florence A. Denton, 72, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Sept. 21, 1929, in Exeter, Pa. A resident for 1 1/2 years, she was a retired high school math teacher.
She is survived by her husband, William D.; one son, Alan T. Denton of Lynn, Mass.; three daughters, Susan D. Thurber of Las Vegas, Dee A. Denton of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Nancy L. Denton of New Hope, Pa.; and one sister, Louise Benson of Waterford, N.Y.
Visitation is scheduled 8:30 a.m. until 10 a.m. services Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Graveside services will follow at noon Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Jodee Greer, 78, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 9, 1923, in Illinois. A resident for four years, she was an entertainer and business owner.
She is survived by one son, David Molle of Las Vegas; one granddaughter and two great-grandchildren.

Lane C. Hanson
Lane C. Hanson, 86, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Phoenix. She was born July 30, 1915, in Maynard, Ohio. A resident for 30 years, she was a retired teacher.
She is survived by one daughter, Deborah Hanson Niblock of Virginia; one brother, Kenneth Crouch of Ohio; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Palm Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
Henry James
Henry James, 74, of North Las Vegas died Friday. A retired city government mechanic and a member of the Masons, he was born July 4, 1927, in St. Joseph, La.
He is survived by four daughters, Theresa James, Brenda Jones, Patricia Jenkins and Cherice, and three sisters, Evelylin James, Marylin James and Gloria Washington, all of Las Vegas; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services will be noon Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.
Kieko Johns
Kieko Johns, 62, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 5, 1939, in Japan.
She is survived by two daughters, Tracy Szumilo and Barbara Wiggins, both of Las Vegas; and six grandchildren.

Mabel Johnson
Mabel Johnson, 84, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 28, 1917, in Shreveport, La. A resident for 59 years, she was a TV repair shop owner for 40 years.
She is survived by two daughters, Patsy Wise of Henderson and Betty Wise of Las Vegas; two sons, B. Earl Johnson and Bob Johnson, both of Las Vegas; two sisters, Mary Groves and May Grunwald, and one brother, Joe Cook, all of Shreveport.

Fred Emory Martin
Fred Emory Martin, 79, of Las Vegas died Oct. 23 in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 12, 1922, in Kansas City, Kan. A resident for 60 years, he was a miner for 40 years, a World War II Navy veteran and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He is survived by eight children; four sisters; and numerous grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St., is handling arrangements.

Marjorie M. Martin
Marjorie M. Martin, 89, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. A homemaker, she was born Sept. 9, 1912, in Illinois.
She is survived by one son, Howard Eugene Martin.

Richard D. McArthur Sr.
Richard D. McArthur Sr., 77, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born June 11, 1924, in Zanesville, Ohio. A resident for 46 years, he was a retired government geologist/engineer and a World War II Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara; two daughters, Karen Bolin of Three Oaks, Mich., and Kathi Milley, R.N., of Las Vegas; four sons, Richard D. McArthur Jr. and David B. McArthur, both of Las Vegas, Maj. Kenneth J. McArthur of Nashua, N.H., and John C. McArthur of Prescott Valley, Ariz.; 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 4 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Graveside services will be 8:40 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
Jack McElrath
Jack McElrath, 68, of Las Vegas died Nov. 4. He was born Sept. 14, 1933, in Moville, Iowa. A resident for many years, he was a retired professional rodeo rider known as "Buckskin Jack," a Korean War Air Force veteran and a member of the Professional Rodeo Riders Association for 50 years.
He is survived by one sister, Janice Long of Las Vegas.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Monday in Desert Springs United Methodist Church, 109 Dawn Isle. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.
Larry Kay Rasmussen
Larry Kay Rasmussen, 45, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 19, 1956, in Utah. A resident for 41 years, he was a flooring installer.
He is survived by his parents, Neal and Delora Rasmussen, one sister, Dixie Taylor, and one brother, Kirk Rasmussen, all of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled 6-8 p.m. Thursday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday in the LDS chapel at Osage Avenue and Pecos Road.
Janice Rial-Menze
Janice Rial-Menze, 43, of Henderson died Monday in Henderson. She was born Jan. 8, 1958, in St. Clair, Ill. A resident for 35 years, she was a title and registration technician for the Department of Motor Vehicles.
She is survived by two daughters, Alicia Menze and Angela Menze, both of Henderson; her father, Clarence Rial, and one brother, Richard Rial, both of Las Vegas.

Jocelyn S. Rotella
Jocelyn S. Rotella, 63, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospice. She was born Sept. 30, 1938, in Muscatine, Iowa. A resident for 21 years, she was a dealer.
She is survived by her husband, Frank; three daughters, Jocelyn Rotella of Las Vegas, Jacqueline Santalucia of Grand Island, N.Y., and Cynthia Lund of Sonoma, Calif.; and four grandchildren.

Alexander J. Sansberry Sr.
Alexander J. Sansberry Sr., 89, of North Las Vegas died Sunday in North Las Vegas. He was born March 27, 1912, in Black Hawk, La. A resident for 34 years, he was a retired hotel porter.
He is survived by his wife, Joanna; three sons, Richmond Calvin of Granger, Ind., J.L. Calvin of Las Vegas and Alex Sansberry Jr. of Los Angeles; three daughters, Shirley Thomas and Deloise Sansberry, both of Kansas City, Mo., and Autriline Sansberry of Las Vegas; 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled noon-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Evergreen Baptist Church, 1915 Lexington St. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.

Ashley E. Schultz, 21, of Henderson died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Sept. 14, 1980, in Peoria, Ill. A resident for 18 years, she was a jewelry shipping and receiving supervisor.
She is survived by her parents, Walter and Joanie Schultz of Henderson; and her grandparents, Ken and Marie Schultz of Rossville, Ind., and Florence Lousig-Nont of Las Vegas.
Services are pending in Peoria, and a memorial service date is pending in Las Vegas. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
Roger Thomas Sheppa
Roger Thomas Sheppa, 41, of Henderson died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 12, 1920, in Fort Monmouth, N.J. A resident for 22 years, he was a medical technician.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Donna Lynn Lazek.
He is survived by one son, Ned Sheppa of Henderson; his father, Thomas Sheppa of St. Petersburg, Fla.; and his mother, Mary Sheppa of Las Vegas.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Friday in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd.
Louis E. Sherman
Louis E. Sherman, 83, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born March 8, 1918, in Butler, Pa. A resident for nine years, he was a retired engineer for a manufacturing firm.
He is survived by his wife, Mary L.; one daughter, Sherry D. Hise of Ventura, Calif.; two sons, Terry L. Williamson of Valencia, Calif., and Michael Williamson of Studio City, Calif.; and two grandchildren.
Visitation was scheduled one hour prior to 2 p.m. services today in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Burial will be in California.
Ricky Wayne Singleton
Ricky Wayne Singleton, 43, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 3, 1958, in Bellflower, Calif. A resident for 6 1/2 years, he was a master auto mechanic.
He is survived by his wife, Colleen Kathleen; three daughters, Tawny Singleton of Fresno, Calif., and Ariana Singleton and Mary Alice Singleton, both of Las Vegas; one son, Thomas Singleton, and his mother, Lorean Singleton, both of Las Vegas; four sisters, Alice Boyd, Martha Dude and Julie Radoumis, all of Las Vegas, and Mary Marek of California.
Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. today in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd. Additional services will be 12:30 p.m. Thursday in Davis Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road.

Irene Urso, 69, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local health care center. She was born Aug. 24, 1932, in Erie, Pa. A resident for six years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two daughters, Dena Urso of Las Vegas and Karma Howell of Fresno, Calif.; one son, Wes Urso of Balboa, Calif.; and six grandchildren.

She is survived by one brother, Robert J. Yeager of Las Vegas; and one sister, Jacquelyn Keller of Minneapolis.
