Developer reports strong sales

Intrawest Corp. said it sold 65 resort condominiums for $26 million at the launch of Viera, its project in MonteLago Village at Lake Las Vegas Resort in Henderson.

The Toronto company builds and runs village-centered resorts in North America.

"Consumers looking for comfort and security in today's market, especially after the activities of the last few months, continue to see the benefits of owning resort real estate," said Tom Wallington, vice president of development for Intrawest

Prices for the resort condominiums of Viera ranged from the mid-$200,000s to $1 million.
