Frohlich scores 22 as Lady Rebels win easily

Linda Frohlich led all scorers with 22 points as the UNLV women's basketball team rolled past Delta Kosice Slovakia 84-51 in an exhibition game Thursday night at the Cox Pavilion.
Just over four minutes into the contest, UNLV found itself ahead 15-4 and never looked back. Later in the first half, UNLV used separate runs of 9-0 and 11-0 to take a 51-25 halftime lead.
UNLV outscored Slovakia by seven in the second half for the 33-point win.
Constance Jinks added 19 points and Petra Glaser had 17 for UNLV. Hana Jendrichovska led Slovakia in scoring with 11.
UNLV shot 48.3 percent from the field, while Slovakia made 41.2 percent of its attempts.
The Lady Rebels will be back in action in their final exhibition game of the preseason against the National Women's Basketball League at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Cox Pavilion.
