Suit filed over alleged nudity

A Las Vegas casino executive has sued KVVU Channel 5, alleging it failed to honor an agreement to not show her in any nude or partially nude state if she agreed to participate in a news report on breast cancer awareness.
Sherry Mercier of the Silverton hotel sued the television station in Clark County District Court, alleging footage of her right breast that was fully exposed to the camera was broadcast on April 5 in a report on a free mobile mammography service provided by the casino to its employees and guests.
Mercier, Silverton's director of human resources, said KVVU had approached her for permission to film her mammogram procedure.
Mercier, who said KVVU had assured her that any footage would be carefully framed and thoroughly edited, said she suffered "great humiliation, embarrassment and mental anguish" after the report allegedly showing her exposed breast was seen by thousands of local residents including her husband, parents, co-workers and friends.
KVVU officials declined comment.
