Judith Louon Armstrong

Judith Louon Armstrong, 76, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospice. She was born Oct. 1, 1925, in Los Angeles. A resident for 11 years, she was a retired actress, a member of the Screen Actors Guild and American Federation of Television and Radio Artists.

She is survived by two daughters, Dana Lisle of Santa Cruz, Calif., and Cathy Rutherford of Las Vegas; two brothers, David Zeitlin of Santa Monica, Calif., and Joel Zeitlin of Encino, Calif.; one sister, Adrianna Kaplan of Brentwood, Calif.; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.

The family suggests donations to the Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4141 S. Swenson St., Las Vegas, NV 89119.

Nick Beccia Sr.

Nick Beccia Sr., 74, of Henderson died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 17, 1927, in Casalvecchio De Pugia, Italy. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired truck driver, a World War II Navy veteran and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He is survived by his wife, Charlotte; three daughters, Charlene Cesa of North Royalton, Ohio, Anne Marie Egut of Parma, Ohio, and Michele Sidor of Henderson; four sons, Nick Beccia Jr. of Davison, Mich., Joseph Beccia of Medina, Ohio, John Beccia of Littleton, Colo., and James Beccia of North Ridgeville, Ohio; 20 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Thursday with a 6 p.m. service in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 1 p.m. Friday in St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 130 N. Pecos Road, Henderson. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Grover Cleveland Bowen Jr.

Grover Cleveland Bowen Jr., 80, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 4, 1921, in Coffeeville, Kan. A resident for 35 years, he was a government shipping supervisor and a World War II Army Air Corps veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Eula; two daughters, Linda Thomas of Leesburg, Fla., and Afton Rowles of Las Vegas; two brothers, Roland "Davy" Bowen of Las Vegas and Bernie Bowen of Duck Creek, Utah; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Friday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Additional visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 10 a.m. services Saturday in the LDS Hollywood and Kell chapel. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road.

Vann Lee Capps

Vann Lee Capps, 42, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 24, 1959, in Mount Holly, N.J. A resident for 10 years, he was a carpenter, a Navy veteran and a member of the Carpenters and Jointers Brotherhood Local 1977.

He is survived by one daughter, Caroline Victoria Capps of Las Vegas; his mother, Dorothea Michael of Edgewater Park, N.J.; two sisters, Melanie Deemer of Edgewater Park and Martha Jane Tortorollo of Woodland, N.J.

Services will be in New Jersey. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling local arrangements.

Edmond Henry Ehrlich

Edmond Henry Ehrlich, 84, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 20, 1917, in New York City. A resident for 25 years, he was a tool and die maker for Lockheed Aircraft.

He is survived by his wife, June; two daughters, Gerri Robin Perna of Henderson and Toby Olsen of Vallejo, Calif.; one sister, Pearl Trupin of New York; and two grandchildren.

Graveside services were scheduled at noon today in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane, is handling arrangements.

Dorothy Alice A. Fey

Dorothy Alice A. Fey, 88, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 23, 1912, in Dickinson, N.D. A resident for 44 years, she was a homemaker and a member of Southgate Chapter of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by one daughter, Judith Fey Thomas of Raleigh, N.C.; two sons, Joel T. Fey of Las Vegas and Jeffery G. Fey of Van Nuys, Calif.; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled 6-8 p.m. Thursday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 1 p.m. Friday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home. John Joseph Harty

John Joseph Harty, 67, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 1, 1934, in New York City. A resident for 1 1/2 years, he was a retired insurance agent, a Korean War Army sergeant, a member of GRS/Real Estate Brokers Association.

He is survived by his companion, Carmen Maria Rivera of Las Vegas; one daughter, Helene Harty-Miracle of Atlanta; one son, Dr. Matthew Harty of Phoenix; and his mother, Bridget Harty of the Bronx, N.Y.

Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services and burial will be in Phoenix.

Nancy Elizabeth Harvey

Nancy Elizabeth Harvey, 81, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local health care center. She was born Dec. 22, 1919, in Fort Worth, Texas. A resident for 36 years, she was an elementary school teacher.

She is survived by one son, Gary D. Harvey of Houston; and two sisters, Mary Toddy Dillard of Las Vegas and Jane Dillard Hanger of Sanibel, Fla.

Visitation is scheduled 2-6 p.m. Thursday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Josephine 'Peppy' Hensley

Josephine "Peppy" Hensley, 75, of Henderson died Oct. 30 in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 4, 1926, in Cleveland. A resident for eight years, she was a homemaker and a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars auxiliary.

She is survived by her husband, Troy B.; one brother, Joseph Brancatelli of Lakewood, Calif.; and four sisters, Theresa Hart of Milan, Ohio, Rose Hegler of Perry, Ohio, Angie Jurantovac of Euclid, Ohio, and Lena Rosa of Hot Springs, Ark.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Leon Luneza

Leon Luneza, 82, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 8, 1918, in the Philippines. A resident for 25 years, he was a casino porter.

He is survived by his wife, Mercedes; two sons, Leo Luneza of Vancouver, British Columbia, and Rodrigo Luneza of Las Vegas; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Friday with a 6 p.m. service in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 5485 E. Charleston Blvd. Graveside services will follow at 12:30 p.m. Saturday in Palm Memorial Park.

Joseph J. McNeil

Joseph J. McNeil, 80, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local convalescent center. He was born April 27, 1921, in Chester, Pa. A resident for 35 years, he was a local motel owner, an employee of the Las Vegas Review-Journal and the 7-Up Bottling Co.

He is survived by one son, Allen Joseph McNeil of Las Vegas; two sisters, Claire McNeil and Maryanne MacInnis, both of Nova Scotia, Canada; two brothers, John C. MacNeil of Nova Scotia and Morris MacNeil of New Brunswick.

Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Thursday with a 3 p.m. rosary in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Friday in St. Anne Catholic Church, 1901 S. Maryland Parkway. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

George E. Megson

George E. Megson, 65, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospice. He was born Jan. 20, 1936, in Rochdale, United Kingdom. A resident for 40 years, he was a retired catering manager.

He is survived by his wife, Jean; one son, Drew B. Megson, and four stepchildren, Chance, Courtney, Phillip and Linda, all of Las Vegas; one brother, Andrew Megson of Toronto; two sisters, Jean Gordon and Moira Byrne, both of Scotland; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Eugene Penfold

Eugene Penfold, 78, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 10, 1923, in Boulder, Colo. A resident for 20 years, he was a retired neon tube bender for a sign company, a World War II Navy veteran, a member of the Zelzah Shrine Temple, Masonic Daylite Lodge, Scottish Rite Bodies and International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 357.

He is survived by his wife, Helen; one daughter, Susan Palermo of Palatine, Ill.; one stepdaughter, Sandra Graf of Las Vegas; two stepsons, Dale Tessler of Lombard, Ill., and John Tessler of Elgin, Ill.; three sisters, Mary Ann Hart of Miami, Edith Harmer of Arcadia, Calif., and Evelyn Legier of Gasquest, Calif.; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday in Palm Chapel, Eastern.

Sonia Teresa Perez

Sonia Teresa Perez, 63, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 15, 1938, in Cuba. A resident for 35 years, she was a retired Maxim hotel dry cleaning clerk and a member of the Culinary Union.

She is survived by two sons, Frank Perez Jr. of Las Vegas and Albert Perez of Sylmar, Calif.; two daughters, Isabel Corbett and Rebecca McCollom, her father, Edwardo Guerrero, and one sister, Tania Garcia, all of Las Vegas; and eight grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 3:30 p.m. Saturday in the LDS chapel at 7500 Tule Springs Road. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

Ann S. Rasile

Ann S. Rasile, 77, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born May 7, 1924, in Easton, Md. A resident for 16 years, she was a retired accounts payable supervisor for an electronics company.

She is survived by two sons, Patrick Rasile of Las Vegas and Mark Rasile of Buena Park, Calif.; two daughters, Sandra Jacoby of Las Vegas and Sharon Cruze of Prunedale, Calif.; two sisters, Barbara Warner of Florida and Phyllis Carlin of Clearwater, Fla.; and six grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled noon until 2 p.m. services Friday in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd.

Arlene M. Roszyk

Arlene M. Roszyk, 74, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 3, 1927, in Latiner, Iowa. A resident for 28 years, she was a homemaker, a member of Lutheran Women's League and Sweet Adelines.

She is survived by her husband, Frank; one brother, Lyle Tabot of Bloomington, Minn.; and two sisters, Shirley McBride of South Carolina and Karen Patterson of Sierra Vista, Ariz.

Visitation is scheduled noon-4 p.m. Thursday in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd. Graveside services will be 9:20 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Ronald F. Savini

Ronald F. Savini, 63, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 28, 1937, in Central Falls, R.I. A resident for 19 years, he was a retired owner-operator of a ceramics manufacturing firm.

He is survived by his wife, Joan; one son, Ronald Savini Jr. of Sun Valley, Calif.; two stepdaughters, Kathy Bowman of Las Vegas and Tracy Bowman of Henderson; one brother, George Savini of Plainfield, N.Y.; two sisters, Josie Roy of Paso Robles, Calif., and Mary Richer of Woonsocket, R.I.; and two grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Robert Schieb

Robert Schieb, 71, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. A salesman and businessman, he was born Feb. 23, 1930, in New York City.

He is survived by his wife, Arline.

No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Florida. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Laura Lucille Moody Stephensen

Laura Lucille Moody Stephensen, 95, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born July 7, 1906, in Hinckley, Utah. A resident for approximately 20 years, she was a beautician, a member and 1979-1981 president of Daughters of Utah Pioneers, president of Mutual Improvement Association, Young Women in Delta, Utah, a member of Purple Sage Camp in Las Vegas and Foster Camp in St. George, Utah, and taught young women modeling and grooming in Delta and Las Vegas.

She is survived by her husband, Harold Amundsen; one daughter, Dorothy Dean Stephensen Dyreng, and one son, Wallace Vernon Stephensen, both of Las Vegas; 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 6-8 p.m. Thursday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Additional visitation is scheduled two hours prior to an 11 a.m. service Friday in the Sun Valley LDS Ward, 5100 Sun Valley Drive. Burial will be in Utah.

The family suggests contributions to the Missionary Fund or the donor's favorite charity.

Samuel Joe Tyler

Samuel Joe Tyler, 53, of Las Vegas died Oct. 14 in Las Vegas. An Army veteran, he was born Aug. 16, 1948, in Louisiana.

He is survived by one brother, Maurice Owens; and three sisters, Karen 'Kay' Tyler, Sharon Owens and Simone Owens.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to noon services Friday in Garden Memorial Funeral Home, 3600 W. Vegas Drive. Burial will follow at 1:20 p.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

M.L. 'Mickey' Walch

M.L. "Mickey" Walch, 82, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospice. She was born May 6, 1919, in Chicago. A resident for one year, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by two sons, Lucky Walch of Las Vegas and Michael Walch of Newburg, Ore.; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 9 a.m. Saturday in Palm Chapel, Eastern.

Dorothy Witt

Dorothy Witt, 84, of Henderson died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 27, 1916, in Hardinsburg, Ind. A resident for 22 years, she was a retired nurse, a member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees and the Boulder City Art Guild.

She is survived by two daughters, Rosemary Witt and Caroline Witt, both of Henderson; and one stepsister, Doris Orr of Knoxville, Iowa.

Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
