Esther Auletti

Esther Auletti, 87, of Las Vegas died Sunday in North Las Vegas. She was born April 7, 1914, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for many years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, Joseph Tragale of Las Vegas; two granddaughters and one great-granddaughter.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Memory Gardens. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Jane Bellino

Jane Bellino, 91, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born March 8, 1910, in Rumford, Maine. A resident for 11 years, she retired as a bakery packager after 35 years and was a member of the Italian Catholic Federation.

She is survived by one daughter, Carmel Perry of Las Vegas; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Maine. Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St., is handling arrangements.

Gregg A. Calvird

Gregg A. Calvird, 58, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 1, 1943, in Faith, S.D. A resident for 36 years, he was an occupational safety officer at UNLV.

He is survived by his wife, Cindy; one daughter, Sarah, and one son, David, both of Las Vegas; one brother, Douglas Calvird, and one sister, Carmell Pietrafeso, both of Denver.

A memorial service will be 7 p.m. Thursday in Canyon Ridge Christian Church, 6200 W. Lone Mountain Road. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

The family suggests donations to the Gregg A. Calvird Scholarship Fund at University of Nevada, Las Vegas, 4505 S. Maryland Parkway, Las Vegas, NV 89154.

Florencio Yee Chan Sr.

Florencio Yee Chan Sr., 80, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 17, 1921, in the Philippines. A resident for 22 years, he was a retired hotel porter.

He is survived by three sons, Alfredo Chan of Los Angeles, Florencio Chan Jr., of Chicago and Wilfredo Chan of Las Vegas; three daughters, Florean Meevasin, Mary Ann Sangdarakul and Baby Ruth Pineda, all of Las Vegas; and 13 grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday in the LDS Civic Center Ward. Graveside services will follow in Palm Memorial Park.

Shirley P. Cudish

Shirley P. Cudish, 67, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospice. She was born Sept. 23, 1934, in Massachusetts. A resident for 10 years, she was an accountant and treasurer for Hadassah.

She is survived by her husband, Bennett; one son, Cliff Cudish of California; two brothers, Aaron Sanft of Mesa, Ariz., and Sonny Sanft of Fall River, Mass.; four sisters, Ruth Croh of Dartmouth, Mass., Bertha Nowenstein of the Bronx, N.Y., Goldie Rudachevsky of Warwick, R.I., and Ethel Schwartz of Swansea, Mass.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Anita M. Salisbury Hemdren

Anita M. Salisbury Hemdren, 84, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 18, 1917, in LaGrande, Ore. A resident for five years, she was a retired paint store owner.

She was preceded in death by two children.

She is survived by one brother, Mel Salisbury of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Additional visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 10 a.m. services Thursday in the LDS Relief Society Room at Eighth Street and Franklin Avenue. Graveside services will follow at 11:30 a.m. Thursday in Palm Memorial Park.

Phillip Herbert Hogan III

Phillip Herbert Hogan III, 5 months, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born May 24, 2001 in Las Vegas.

He is survived by his mother, Gleceria Heard, his father, Phillip Hogan Jr., and one brother, Dominic Flores, all of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Graveside services will follow at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest.

Mildred V. Jacoby

Mildred V. Jacoby, 86, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 10, 1914, in Menard, Texas. A resident for 39 years, she was a homemaker, a member of the Moose and Eagles.

She is survived by her husband, Vincent; one son, Michael Jacoby of Las Vegas; six grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 9 a.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.

Fretanasia LeAnn Jones

Fretanasia LeAnn Jones, 16 months, of Henderson died Thursday in Henderson. She was born June 17, 2000, in Nevada.

She is survived by her mother, Ida Louise Jones; her father, Bobby Hartwell; two sisters, Lashonda Hartwell and Antonisha Hartwell; five brothers, Antonio Hartwell, Laguan Jones, Dontavio Jones, Deon Lee Jr., and Kevarien Kenye Lee; and her two grandmothers, Mildred Jones and Vera Beads.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Harrison-Ross Mortuaries, 2071 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Harrison-Ross Mortuaries. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Phyllis Lewis

Phyllis Lewis, 50, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Sept. 23, 1951, in Lima, Ohio. A resident for 22 years, she was a grocery store checker.

She is survived by her husband, Robert; one daughter, Brandi Bartlett, and one son, Bryan Bartlett, both of Henderson; one sister, Madonna Mantooth of Las Vegas; and one brother, Larry Newberry of Vandalia, Ohio.

Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. services Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Cory James Miller

Cory James Miller, 28, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. A chef, he was born Aug. 7, 1973, in Montana.

No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Montana. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Lyle James Murphy

Lyle James Murphy, 74, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. A security officer, he was born Feb. 7, 1927, in Ohio.

He is survived by one brother, Gene Murphy of Cleveland.

No local services are scheduled. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson handled arrangements.

Judy K. Nielsen

Judy K. Nielsen, 54, of Henderson died Saturday in Henderson. She was born May 18, 1947, in Turlock, Calif. A resident for 33 years, she was a support personnel clerk for the Clark County School District and active in many LDS organizations, including the choir and Family History Center, and was past president of the Relief Society.

She is survived by her husband, Larry G.; four daughters, Michele Hausner of Henderson, Laura Nielsen of Las Vegas, Amanda Cook of Kearns, Utah, and Carla Nielsen of Yerington; and one grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled 6-7 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Additional visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 10 a.m. services Friday in the Ocean Street LDS Chapel, Henderson. Graveside services will follow at noon Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Buchanan Blvd., Boulder City.

Theresa Sanginario

Theresa Sanginario, 90, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born May 5, 1911, in Philadelphia. A resident for 11 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by three sons, Vincent Sanginario of Webster, N.Y., John Sanginario of Rochester, N.Y., and Anthony Sanginario of Las Vegas; six sisters and two brothers; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 8-10 a.m. Thursday in Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St. Mass will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Holy Family Catholic Church, 4490 Mountain Vista St.

Vernon Taylor

Vernon Taylor, 80, of Henderson died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born May 23, 1921, in Laketown, Utah. A resident for nine years, he was vice president/manager of an aerospace firm and World War II and Korean War Air Force veteran.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years; Eileen; two daughters, Barbara Snowden of West Chester, Ohio, and Sandra Taylor, Los Osos, Calif.; three sons, Vernon Taylor of Wichita, Kan., Danis Taylor of Monterey, Calif., and Dana Taylor of Pasadena, Calif.; one sister, Elaine Hatch of Randolph, Utah; five brothers, Jay Taylor of Las Vegas, Lawrence Taylor of St. George, Utah, James Taylor of Eden, Utah, Wallace Taylor of Atlanta and Robert Taylor of Henderson; 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 6-8 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Additional visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 10 a.m. services Thursday in the Fountains LDS Ward. Graveside services will follow at noon Thursday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Joanne Vigil

Joanne Vigil, 61, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born July 9, 1940, in Philadelphia. A resident for 41 years, she was a bartender at Charlie's bars and a member of the Bartenders Union.

She is survived by her husband, Robert; two sons, Mike Herbert and Tommy Herbert, both of Las Vegas; three sisters, Helen Jean Bailey of Fayetteville, Ark., and Nancy Henery and Mary Starjak, both of Las Vegas; and four grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd. Burial will be private.

James B. Wade

James B. Wade, 65, of North Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 25, 1935, in Russell Springs, Ky. A resident for one year, he was a retired truck driver and an Air Force veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Martha.

Mary Ann Wells

Mary Ann Wells, 65, of Pahrump died Sunday in Pahrump. A resident for eight years, she was born April 27, 1936, in South Dakota.

She is survived by her husband, Larry; three sons, Dale Wells of Pahrump and Thomas Wells and Timothy Wells, both of California; one daughter, Mary Lou Higginbotham of Washington state; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Pahrump Family Mortuary, 5441 S. Vicki Ann Road.

Linda Marie Wolf

Linda Marie Wolf, 53, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospice. She was born Feb. 28, 1948, in Albany, Ore. A resident for 13 years, she was an executive secretary in the legal industry for 35 years.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald; her mother, Vira Powers of Albany; and two sisters, Kathy Griffith of Albany and Sandy Sorrenson of Mesquite.

Gertrude J. Wright

Gertrude J. Wright, 79, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local care center. She was born Jan. 4, 1922, in Three Forks, Mont. A resident for 39 years, she was a beautician.

She is survived by her companion, Wayne Kraxberger of Las Vegas; two daughters, Renelle DeLoe of Las Vegas and Melanee Sylvester of Cambria, Calif.; two sons, Lee Wright of Bothell, Wash., and William Wright of California; two brothers, Arthur Visser of Roberts, Mont., and Dale Visser of Las Vegas; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
