Horseshoe Club owner sued by siblings over home

The children of Las Vegas gambling legend Benny Binion are feuding over the fate of a Las Vegas house they inherited from their mother, Teddy Jane Binion.
The home at 2040 West Bonanza was conveyed in 1996 to riverboat gambling operator Jack B. Binion, casino executive Ted Binion and their sisters, Brenda Sharon Michael and Becky Behnen.
Behnen now owns the legendary Horseshoe Club in downtown Las Vegas.
But Jack, the estate of Ted and their sister, Brenda, are now fighting Behnen over her alleged refusal to sign listing agreements to sell the property.
Jack, Brenda and Ted's estate sued Behnen on Thursday in Clark County District Court to force her to sell the house and to divide the proceeds among the siblings and Ted's estate.
"No one is living in the house now. My clients just want to sell it and be done with it," said Bruce Judd, the plaintiffs' attorney. "The Binion children and Becky are tenants in common, which means they own the property together. Since they can't determine unanimously over what to do with the property, the Binion children want to get the court to sell it."
Behnen could not be reached for comment on the allegations.
