Henderson teen heads to Washington
A Henderson high school student has been selected by the National Youth Leadership Forum to participate in a five-day law program for students.
Markos Mendoza, an 11th grader at Coronado High School, will join 350 juniors and seniors across the United States at a forum on law that will take place in Washington, D.C., Nov. 13-18.

The forum is an opportunity for youths interested in law and justice to get an early exposure to those disciplines. During the program, participants will learn about the legal system through specific examples set by attorneys and court officials of all levels.
