Martin T. Albach

Martin T. Albach, 59, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born March 27, 1942, in New York. A resident for two years, he was a petting zoo owner.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara.

No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in East Moriches, N.Y. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, handled arrangements.

Edward Sheppard Beard

Edward Sheppard Beard, 79, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 27, 1922, in South Carolina. A resident for 20 years, he was a supervisor for H&R Block, an accountant, and World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Dorothy; two daughters, Heidi Wood of Las Vegas and Patricia Holder of Weaverville, Calif.; and one son, Richard Beard of Marysville, Calif.

A memorial service was scheduled at 11:20 a.m. today in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Valley Memorial Crematory, 745 W. Sunset Road No. 16, Henderson, handled arrangements.

Robert Blue

Robert Blue, 38, of Las Vegas died Oct. 21 in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 1, 1962, in New Jersey. A resident for one year, he was a construction worker.

He is survived by one son, Andrew Blue; three daughters, Sharon Blue, Robann Williamson and Justina Blue; his father, Bob Lewis; three brothers, Donald P. Blue, Kevin A. Blue and Sean Blue; and one sister, Sharon A. McGuire.

Hazel Margaret Rose Bosch

Hazel Margaret Rose Bosch, 84, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born March 22, 1917, in Milwaukee. A resident for 49 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Judy Bosch of Las Vegas; and one brother, Harvey Walcher of Deltona, Fla.

Nellie H. Bowie

Nellie H. Bowie, 78, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born July 6, 1923, in Baltimore. A resident for one year, she was a retired elementary school teacher and a member of the Phi Delta Kappa Sorority, St. Martha's Guild, and the Doolittle Senior Center.

She is survived by one son, Gerald Bowie, and one daughter, Jerlys Henderson, both of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.

John W. 'JW' Clark

John W. "JW" Clark, 64, of Las Vegas died Oct. 25 in North Las Vegas. He was born May 5, 1937, in Fordyce, Ark. A resident for 43 years, he was a bellman at the Stardust hotel, and a member of the Fordyce Club of Las Vegas.

He is survived by one daughter, Tiffany Clark of North Las Vegas; one brother, Alfred Clark of Las Vegas; and four sisters, Grace Clark and Sandra, both of Las Vegas, and Cecilia Simmons and Geneva Freeman, both of Compton, Calif.

Visitation is scheduled noon-8 p.m. Friday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Powerhouse Church of God in Christ, 1216 W. Adams Ave. Burial will be in Palm Memorial Park.

Marie Cummings

Marie Cummings, 73, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 30, 1928, in Arizona. A resident for 43 years, she was a collection manager for a credit union.

She is survived by her husband, Frederick; one son, Frederick M. Cummings III of Pocatello, Idaho; two daughters, Jo Suzanne Stasiak of Las Vegas and Rebecca Louise Livingston of Boise, Idaho; one sister, Vivian Watters of Battle Ground, Wash.; and six grandchildren.

Services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday in St. George Angelican Church, 7676 W. Gilmore.

Marjorie J. Dow

Marjorie J. Dow, 73, of Las Vegas died Oct. 26 in North Las Vegas. She was born March 2, 1928,in Massachusetts. A resident for many years, she was a clerical worker for Metro Police.

She is survived by two brothers, Norbert O. Dow and David C.Dow, both of Las Vegas.

Neva M. Huber

Neva M. Huber, 91, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local care center. She was born March 14, 1910, in Orin, Wash. A resident for 39 years, she was a retired purchasing worker for the county government, and a member of Park Chapter, No. 26, White Shrine, and Beauecant.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas; one daughter, Janice Langley of Boulder City; one stepdaughter, Linda Peacock of East Dubuque, Ill.; one brother, John Mansfield of Sequim, Wash.; one sister, Sarah Graham of Spokane, Wash.; seven grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be noon Saturday in Palm Mortuary, Downtown. Burial will be in Palm Memorial Park.

Cecil C. Kemp

Cecil C. Kemp, 70, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospice. He was born Aug. 16, 1931, in Cedar Vale, Kan. A resident for 40 years, he was a bus driver.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy; one son, Timothy Kemp of Cedar City, Utah; two daughters, Cheryl Gran of Cedar City and Laura Cottrill of Las Vegas; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Friday at 4932 Dunkirk Ave. Burial will be private. American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane, is handling arrangements.

Andre Dewayne Marcus

Andre Dewayne Marcus, 30, of Las Vegas died Oct. 26 in Las Vegas. He was born July 19, 1971, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, he was a painter and contractor.

He is survived by one daughter, Adrian Marcus of California; his mother, Rosie Lee Marcus; his father and stepmother, Robert Lee Marcus and Sheila D. Marcus; one brother, Anthony; five sisters, Susan, Mary Ann, Meaghan, T'Lisa and Kelonda.

Services were scheduled at 11 a.m. today in Zion Methodist Church, 2108 N. Revere St. Harrison-Ross Mortuaries, 2071 Las Vegas Blvd. North, handled arrangements.

David R. MacFarlane

David R. MacFarlane, 69, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 27, 1931, in Caro, Mich. A resident for 50 years, he was a retired Air Force aircraft technician, Korean War veteran, member of the American Federation of Government Employees, and Watermaster for the Hillcrest Water Association.

He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline; three sons, Donald MacFarlane of Kailua, Hawaii, and John MacFarlane and Stephen MacFarlane, both of Las Vegas; one daughter, Nancy Ahey of Las Vegas; his father, Duncan MacFarlane of Manhattan, Kan.; three sisters, Carol Cornwell of Salina, Kan., and Jeanette MacFarlane and Barbara MacFarlane, both of Kansas; one brother, Jim MacFarlane; 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were scheduled at 1:20 p.m. today in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., handled arrangements.

Palmer McIlroy

Palmer McIlroy, 83, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospice. He was born July 30, 1918, in Detroit. A resident for nine years, he was a retired environmental inspector for the city of Detroit, World War II Army veteran, and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and Disabled American Veterans Post 34.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; one son of Las Vegas; one daughter, Margaret Flores of Westland, Mich.; and three grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled noon-5 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Graveside services will be 8 a.m. Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Pearl Palmieri

Pearl Palmieri, 62, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born May 11, 1939, in New York. A resident for seven years, she was an employee at Citi Bank and a member of the Las Vegas Club of the Deaf, Silver Bells, Deaf Senior Citizens of Las Vegas, and NVAD.

She is survived by her husband, Edward; one daughter, Lori Griggs; one sister, Michele F. Kass; and her mother, Gertrude Hirschman.

Services will be held in New York. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, handled arrangements.

Ken Perkins

Ken Perkins, 64, of Henderson died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born July 15, 1937, in Cedar City, Utah. A resident for 40 years, he was a retired police officer and member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Elks, National Rifle Association, Nevada Bow Hunters Association and Nevada Peace Officers Association.

He is survived by two daughters, Danielle Butler and Cheryl Rock, both of Henderson; two sons, Richard Perkins of Henderson and Craig Perkins of Cedar City; three sisters, LaRue Rosenberg of Las Vegas, Charlotte Murdock of Layton, Utah, and Colleen Neeley of Price, Utah; and 10 grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. services Monday in the LDS Ocean Street chapel, Henderson. Burial will be in Palm Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Raymond Eugene Sanders

Raymond Eugene Sanders, 54, of North Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born April 17, 1947, in Bakersfield, Calif. A resident for 15 years, he was a retired Air Force veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Lily; one son, Raymond Sanders Jr. of Lancaster, Calif.; one daughter, Kathryn Sanders of San Bernardino, Calif.; one brother, Richard Sanders, and one sister, Alice Warner, both of Bakersfield; and 10 grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 5-8 p.m. today in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd. Services will be 11:30 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Jo Ann Smith

Jo Ann Smith, 59, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born July 11, 1942, in New York. A resident for two years, she was a sales office manager.

She is survived by her husband, John; one son, Josh Smith of Henderson; and seven sisters, Helen Parker of Henderson, Dorothy De Mars of Florida and Leora Manley, Margaret Haig, Mildred Rushlow, Ester Callaghan and Martha Salls, all of New York.

Services are scheduled 3 p.m. Saturday in Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson. Burial will be private.
