BULLHEAD CITY, Ariz. -- In a move likely to hurt Nevada casinos in Laughlin, America West Express flights out of Bullhead City will end June 30.
The Phoenix-based airline now offers jet flights three times daily from Laughlin/Bullhead International Airport to Phoenix but said this week that increased costs make ending them necessary.
The Mesa Air Group carrier said it was trying to work out a deal with Air Laughlin so America West passengers can connect with other destinations.
America West Express began offering flights out of Bullhead City in 1992.
