11-11:06 a.m. - Cars warm up engines
11:07 a.m. - Cars take on full fuel load
11:20 a.m. - Drivers introductions
11:33 a.m. - "America the Beautiful," sung by Florence Henderson
11:38 a.m. - Color guard in position
11:39 a.m. - National Anthem, sung by Aerosmith lead singer Steven Tyler
11:41 a.m. - Invocation, by Indianapolis Archbishop Daniel Buechlein
11:46 a.m. - Playing of "Taps" by the Purdue band
11:47 a.m. - Fly-over
11:49 a.m. - Singing of "Back Home Again in Indiana" by Jim Nabors and traditional balloon spectacle
11:52 a.m. - Traditional command, "Gentlemen, start your engines," by Mari Hulman George
11:53 a.m. - Oldsmobile Bravada pace car, driven by fashion model Elaine Irwin-Mellencamp, leads starters on parade laps
