Thursday, 9:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. at County Government Center, 500 Grand Central Parkway, and 11 a.m.-6 p.m. at Boulder City Community Center, 1217 Nevada Highway.

Friday, 7 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at Silverado High School, 1650 E. Silver Hawk Ave.

Saturday, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. at LDS Lone Mountain chapel, 5160 W. Lone Mountain Road.

Volunteers needed to help at event

The Silver State Apartment Association needs 150 volunteers to work the National Education Conference and Expo June 14, 15 and 16.

Volunteers will be able to attend any of the education seminars, the opening session with Magic Johnson and closing session with Jim Lovell and Gene Kranz, featured in the motion picture "Apollo 13."

The closing event is a black tie dinner dance with Kool and the Gang, which will cost $125.

Cost to attend the conference is $550 for nonvolunteers and members of SSAA and $775 for nonmembers.

The last day for sign-up is Wednesday. For more information, call731-6025.
