CCSN president candidates down to four
Monday, May 14, 2001 | 10:38 a.m.
The list of finalists to become Community College of Southern Nevada's new president has been pared to four.
The committee has narrowed a field of 11 to Jack E. Daniels, president of Central College in the Houston Community College System; Shirley A. Reed, president of South Texas Community College; Ronald Remington, president of Great Basin College in Elko; and Mary S. Spangler, president of Los Angeles City College.
The finalists, starting today, will tour CCSN's campuses for three days to meet with regents, staff and faculty.
A search committee will narrow the list to one. That candidate must then be approved by the Board of Regents.
