Isabell Joyclyn Scott Austin

Isabell Joyclyn Scott Austin, 86, of Boulder City died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born July 17, 1914, in Avalon, Calif. A resident for 44 years, she was a homemaker, member of the Boulder City Garden Club, PEO and the Boulder City Seniors Center and was awarded the Paul Harris Fellowship in Rotary International.

She is survived by her husband, Bob; one daughter, Gayle I. Austin of Whidbey Island, Wash.; one son, Robert S. Austin of Moncks Corner, S.C.

Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Grace Community Church, 1150 Wyoming St., Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Johnny Black

Johnny Black, 74, of Las Vegas died April 29 in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 17, 1927. A longtime resident, he was retired.

Graveside services were scheduled at 12:30 p.m. today in Woodlawn Cemetery. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, handled arrangements.

Graciela Camacho

Graciela Camacho, 73, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 23, 1927, in Mexico. A resident for four years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Jose; four daughters, Enriquta Rodriguez of Mexico, Carmen Felix of Nevada and Francisca Romero and Vilma Ortiz, both of California; four sons, Enrique Camacho of California and Jose Camacho Jr., Gabriel Camacho and Martin Camacho, all of Nevada; two sisters, Maria Guerrero and Socorro Garcia, both of California; two brothers, Pedro Barron of Mexico and Trini Barron of California; 28 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was scheduled 2-6 p.m. today in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Eden Vale Memorial Park.

Roselie Conigliaro

Roselie Conigliaro, 72, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born July 15, 1928, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 50 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Julius; one daughter, Sandra Love, and one son, Gregg Conigliaro, both of Las Vegas; one brother, Patrick Porcarello of Prescott, Ariz.; and three grandchildren.

Services were scheduled 1:30 p.m. today in Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1811 Pueblo Vista Drive. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., handled arrangements.

Jessie A. Dodson

Jessie A. Dodson, 84, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 20, 1916, in Pittsburgh. A resident for seven years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by two daughters, Carol Thornton of Las Vegas and Janet Hess of Pittsburgh; four sons, Louis Laury of Warsaw, Mo., and Edward Spates, Dennis Laury and Tedd Laury, all of Pittsburgh; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

No services are scheduled. Burial will be private. Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd., handled arrangements.

Vincent D'Orazio

Vincent D'Orazio, 48, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 13, 1952, in New York. A longtime resident, he was a pipe fitter and plumber.

He is survived by one son, Dominic D'Orazio, and one daughter, Gia D'Orazio, both of Las Vegas; and one brother, Philip D'Orazio of New York.

Saul Elkins

Saul Elkins, 93, of Henderson died Wednesday in Henderson. He was born June 22, 1907, in New York. A longtime resident, he was a motion picture writer and director.

He is survived by one son, David Elkins of Henderson.

Lillian Lucinda Garbian

Lillian Lucinda Garbian, 82, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 13, 1919, in McAlester, Okla. A resident for 52 years, she was a homemaker and a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Mesquite Club, Sunday Scrabble and the Association of Research and Enlightenment.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Monday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.

Clara Glassford

Clara Glassford, 87, of Las Vegas died May 4 in Las Vegas. Born Jan. 2, 1914, in Michigan, she was a housewife.

She is survived by one son, Daniel Glassford; one daughter, Alice Heffington of Florida; and one sister, Rose Ronni of Ohio.

Mary Alice Grosvenor

Mary Alice Grosvenor, 66, of Henderson died Monday in a local hospice. She was born July 23, 1934, in Chicago. A resident for 3 1/2 years, she was a marketing administrator and a Marine Corps veteran.

She is survived by her husband, Randall; two stepsons, Eddie Grosvenor and Alex Grosvenor, both of Henderson; four brothers, Arthur Cossey of Oakland, Calid., Oliver Cossey of Gary, Ind., Nicholas Cossey of Elkhart, Ind., and Carver Cossey of Wildomar, Calif.; and one sister, Ruth Cossey of Palo Alto, Calif.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Vegas View Church of God in Christ, 1906 Glider St. Burial will be private. American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane, is handling arrangements.

Lillian Kars

Lillian Kars, 85, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local care center. She was born Feb. 3, 1916, in Kansas City, Kan. A resident for 27 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, Michael Kars of Huntington Beach, Calif.; one daughter, Patty Goldman of Henderson; one brother, Dan Franklin of Danville, Calif.; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Services were private. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., handled arrangements.

Lola Mae King

Lola Mae King, 72, of Henderson died Monday in Henderson. Born Feb. 10, 1929, in Texas, she was an electronics technician.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Stanley King and Larry King; and one daughter, Cheryl King.

She is survived by one son, Curtis King Jr.; one daughter, Larrine Leisure; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Elizabeth D. Marchisella

Elizabeth D. Marchisella, 76, of Henderson died Tuesday in a local care center. She was born Aug. 8, 1924, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 10 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by two sons, Joseph Marchisella of Henderson and Anthony Marchisella of Las Vegas; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 1-5 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Kenneth Marshall

Kenneth Marshall, 90, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born March 17, 1911, in Sunnydell, Idaho. A resident for 46 years, he was a retired school principal and a World War II Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Isabelle; one daughter, Janis Pitrone of Las Vegas; and one son, Chad Marshall of Logandale.

A memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the First Presbyterian Church Academy, 1515 W. Charleston Blvd. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., handled arrangements.

Anne Meranchik, 81, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. Born Feb. 14, 1920, in New York, she was a homemaker.

Myrtle Dorothy B. Miller, 73, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born July 16, 1927, in New York. A longtime resident, she was a laundry worker.

She is survived by one son, Kevin Miller of Las Vegas; and one daughter, Darwin A. Lott of Utica, N.Y.

Sergio Monroy

Sergio Monroy, 30, of Henderson died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 10, 1971, in Mexico. A resident for 20 years, he was a cook at the Rio.

He is survived by his wife, Diana; one son, Christian Monroy, one daughter, Diana Monroy, and his mother, Sylvia Rivas, all of Las Vegas; his father, Ernesto Monroy of Mexico; and one brother, Ernesto Monroy of Hawaii.

A memorial service was planned for today. Nevada Funeral Service, 2983 Fremont St., handled arrangements.

Donald Takeo Omura

Donald Takeo Omura, 83, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 1, 1918, in Hawaii. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired vice president of First Hawaiian Bank and World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by two daughters, Barbara Nimmons of Mill Valley, Calif., and Carol Biang of Oakton, Va.; two sisters, Lorraine Sasaki of Honolulu and Kiku Omura of Paia, Hawaii; and two grandchildren.

Private services will be held by the family. Nevada Funeral Service, 2983 Fremont St., handled arrangements.

Robert Dale Owen

Robert Dale Owen, 76, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 22, 1924, in Gary, Ind. A resident for 56 years, he was a hotel painting foreman, World War II Marine Corps veteran and a member of the Painters Local 159, American Legion and Emmaus Community of Southern Nevada.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Betty; two sons, Robert Owen Jr., and Ronald L. Owen, both of Las Vegas; three sisters, Sienna L. Neal of Las Vegas, Shirley Livingston of Hammond, Ind., and Barbara Harris of Crown Point, Ind.; four brothers, Gary Owen of Demotte, Ind., Aubrey Owen of Lompoc, Calif., Ronald K. Owen of Pennsylvania and Edward Owen of Las Vegas; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. today in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Griffith United Methodist Church, 1701 E. Oakey Blvd. Burial will be in Memory Gardens.

Thea B. Pollock

Thea B. Pollock, 68, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 18, 1932, in New York. A resident for one year, she was a registered nurse.

She is survived by her husband, Sidney; one son, Sam Pollock of Las Vegas; one daughter, Tracey Robin Pollock of Cherry Hill, N.J.; one brother, Roy Blau of Alaska; and two grandchildren.

Cora L. Quarles

Cora L. Quarles, 69, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born June 27, 1931, in Huntsville, Ala. A resident for 30 years, she was a retired infant monitor for a foster care center.

She is survived by her fiance, Charles Ferrell, one daughter, Cora Davis, and one son, Zack Davis, all of Las Vegas, three sisters, Annie Mae Murphy of Louisville, Ky., Hattie Harris of Nashville, Tenn., and Vella Fitzgerald of Franklin, Tenn.; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 1-5 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 10 a.m. Monday in Palm Mortuary, Downtown. Burial will be in Palm Memorial Park.

Olivia Robinson

Olivia Robinson, 83, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. A longtime resident, she was a food editor.

She is survived by one sister, Clara Arvanitis of Deerfield, Ill.

Virginia L. Smith, 75, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 23, 1926, in Little Rock, Ark. A resident for 45 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, George; two sons, David and Tom Smith, both of Las Vegas; one sister, Doris Barcus of San Francisco; two brothers, Ronald Barcus of Champaign, Ill., and Richard Barcus of Lake Havasu City, Ariz.; and three grandchildren.
