The Las Vegas Animal Kingdom Veterinary Hospital was honored recently for 25 years of excellence in small animal care at the American Animal Hospital Association's 68th annual meeting in San Antonio.
Animal Kingdom, 1325 Vegas Valley Drive, has been a member of the AAHA since 1976 and has undergone regular evaluations by the organization to ensure compliance with the association's standards in 12 areas of practice, from surgery to diagnostic imaging.
"The 25-year hospital members have proven their commitment to excellence in pet care and to the AAHA," said Dr. Michael Thomas, president of the group, an international association that was founded in 1933 and represents 22,000 veterinarians who treat pets.
