Where she is now: UCLA Class: Junior
Sport: Softball
Currently: The starting second baseman for the No. 2 Bruins, Buck is hitting .255 with 10 RBIs and 11 runs for 53-4 UCLA. The infielder also has a solid .955 fielding percentage, with just six errors this season. Buck hit .300 in the 2000 Women's College World Series and scored 82 runs -- ninth-best in NCAA history -- as a shortstop for UCLA's 1999 squad.
Looking back: A three-sport star at Green Valley, Buck earned letters in softball, basketball and volleyball after transferring to the Henderson school from nearby Silverado. Buck earned Southern Zone and Sunrise Division MVP softball honors as a junior and senior, and was also selected to Fastpitch Magazine's All-American team after batting .495 and .465 during her final two prep seasons.
