StumbleRebels’ Palepoi on Lombardi Watch List

UNLV defensive end Anton Palepoi is one of 52 players who have been selected to the 2001 Lombardi Award Watch List by the Houston Rotary Club.
The Lombardi Award goes to the down lineman or defender who lines up within five yards of the football who is judged as the best in college football. Tennessee defensive tackle John Henderson is the preseason favorite for the honor.
Palepoi was a first team all-Mountain West Conference pick last season after tying for second in the conference in quarterback sacks with eight.
