Plea deal expected in teen prostitution

An Atlanta man accused of kidnapping a 13-year-old girl and bringing her to Las Vegas where she was caught soliciting for purposes of prostitution will take a deal.
Chief Deputy District Attorney Vicki Monroe said Allan Charles James announced his intention Monday to plead guilty to one count of first-degree kidnapping and two counts of statutory seduction.
As a result of the plea agreement, James will receive a two-to-15-year prison sentence for kidnapping. He also will receive two one-to-five-year prison terms for the seduction counts, but it will be up to District Judge Sally Loehrer to decide if the three sentences should be run at the same time, one after the other or a combination of the two.
Monroe said police found the 13-year-old girl at the Greyhound bus station on April 16 and quickly discovered she was wanted on prostitution warrants in Georgia.
They took the child into custody and soon discovered James had allegedly kidnapped her, Monroe said.
