Director sells shares

A member of Harrah's Entertainment Inc.'s board of directors has sold roughly one-third of his holdings in the Las Vegas-based casino company.
Documents filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission indicate that Tennessee businessman R. Brad Martin sold 10,000 shares of Harrah's stock, grossing $353,000. The document did not indicate whether Martin acquired these shares through the exercise of stock options.
Martin controlled 31,000 shares of Harrah's stock on Jan. 31, Harrah's 2001 proxy filing stated.
