Hard Rock Hotel Inc. fired its auditing firm last week, the Las Vegas company said in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Hard Rock replaced Ernst & Young LLP with Arthur Andersen LLP on May 1. The filing did indicate why this step was taken, though Hard Rock said there were no disagreements over the past two years with E&Y on any of the Hard Rock's financial reports, accounting practices or disclosures.
