Two members of the 99th Communications Squadron at Nellis Air Force Base have been recognized as tops in their field in the Air Combat Command.
Tech. Sgt. James Bryan, noncommissioned officer in charge of the 99th Communications Photographic unit, was named information professional of the year for the command, and Tom Fridmann, the units chief of television production, was named civilian information professional of the year.
Bryan, in his second year at Nellis, oversaw the conversion of the photo processing facility from chemical to digital format, which has increased product turn-around time and total customer support.
Fridmann was instrumental in procuring a new base cable television contract to serve the needs of the approximately 1,000 dormitory residents and 700 official visitors staying in lodging rooms at the base.
