Virginia J. Bramante
Virginia J. Bramante, 87, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospice. She was born June 25, 1913, in Little Prairie, Ark. A resident for more than 24 years, she was a retired hotel waitress.
She is survived by one stepson, Marino Bramante of Franklin Lake, N.J.
Visitation was scheduled 1-5 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 9 a.m. Thursday in Palm Chapel, Main. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.
The family suggests donations to the Nathan Adelson Hospice, 3391 N. Buffalo Drive, Las Vegas, NV 89129.
L. Faye Christian
L. Faye Christian, 67, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospice. She was born Aug. 26, 1933, in Samantha, Ala. A resident for 35 years, she was a saleswoman at a fabric store.
She is survived by one daughter, Dianne Taylor of Las Vegas; one brother, Grady W. Jones of Birmingham, Ala.; and two grandchildren.
Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Palm Memorial Park, Henderson.
Joseph Scott Costa
Joseph Scott Costa, 37, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 1, 1963, in New Bedford, Mass. A resident for six years, he was a certified nursing assistant for a home care facility.
He is survived by his companion, Stephen Harsin; his mother and stepfather, Nancy and John Costa of New Bedford, Mass.; three brothers, Robert Costa of Dartmouth, Mass., Kevin Costa of New Bedford and Stephen Costa of Ohio; and his grandmother, Deolinda Paulino of Fairhaven, Mass.
A celebration of life will be 4 p.m. Thursday at the family residence. Burial will be private. Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Lethell Cousin
Lethell Cousin, 58, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospice. She was born Aug. 20, 1942, in Poplarville, Miss. A resident for 33 years, she retired as a Tropicana dealer after 12 years and was an honorary member of the Elks.
She is survived by her husband, Charlie; four sons, Ronald Cousin, Donald Cousin, Kerry Cousin and Todd Cousin; two daughters, Joyce Hughes and Cynthia Thompson, all of Las Vegas; five brothers, James Jenkins, Joe Lewis Jenkins and Claude Ray Jenkins, all of Slidell, La., Nebuchadnezzer Jenkins of Las Vegas and Willie Ray Jenkins of Ocean Springs, Miss.; one sister, Deserie Richard of Picayune, Miss.; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Greater Evergreen Baptist Church, 1915 Lexington St. Additional services and burial will be in Slidell.
Robert James Cowin
Robert James Cowin, 83, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospice. He was born Aug. 11, 1917, in Arizona. A resident for three years, he was an Air Force colonel, a member of the Retired Officers Association, the Masons and the National Defense Transportation Association.
He is survived by one son, John Cowin of Las Vegas; one daughter, Suzanne Cowin of Boca Raton, Fla.; and two grandchildren.

John Watson Cox
John Watson Cox, 98, of Dallas died Saturday in Dallas. He was born Dec. 9, 1902, Roff, Okla. A resident of Las Vegas in its early days, he had been a pit boss.
He is survived by one brother, Robert Cox of Amarillo, Texas.

Susan D. Fischer
Susan D. Fischer, 54, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born May 7, 1946, in Tucson, Ariz. A resident for 20 years, she was a health insurance claims adjuster.
She is survived by two sons, Scott Fischer and Michael Fischer, both of Las Vegas.
Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Buchanan Blvd., Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
Arthur Francis Gilbert
Arthur Francis Gilbert, 57, of North Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospice. He was born July 20, 1943, in Waterville, Maine. A resident for five years, he was a retired assembler for a car manufacturer.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Ann; his stepfather, George A. Vigue of Winslow, Maine; and one brother, Clifford B. Gilbert of Lake Havasu City, Ariz.
Visitation is scheduled 1-7 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Friday in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest.

Albert Richard Grier, 68, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 24, 1932, in Chattanooga, Tenn. A resident for 31 years, he was a warehouse stock person and a Vietnam War Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Clara E.; one daughter, Kristna Ashley Grier, and one sister, Dorothy Elaster, both of Las Vegas.
Graveside services will be noon Thursday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
James B. Gripentog
James B. Gripentog, 33, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 27, 1967, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, he was a marine accessory manager and a 1985 Bishop Gorman High School graduate.
He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Sandra and Thomas Kenne, and his stepmother, Pat Gripentog, all of Las Vegas; and one sister, Denise Barker of Henderson.
Visitation will continue until 8 p.m. today with a 7:30 p.m. service in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday in St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 130 N. Pecos Road, Henderson. Burial will follow at noon Thursday in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Henry August Hampel, 48, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born March 12, 1953, in Los Angeles. A resident for 4 1/2 years, he was a supervisor and a Marine Corps veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Diane; and three sisters, Emma Hampel and Shirley Petersen, both of California, and Cecil Marrujo.
Services were scheduled at 3 p.m. today in Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements. Burial will be private.
John Scott Kosco
John Scott Kosco, 35, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 28, 1966, in Inglewood, Calif. A resident for two years, he was a college student.
He is survived by his parents, Thomas J. and Sharon L. Kosco of Mission Viejo, Calif.

Ray K. LaGrange
Ray K. LaGrange, 74, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 6, 1926, in Benton County, Iowa. A resident for 27 years, he was a plumber for a government contractor, a World War II Navy veteran and a member of the Shriners.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Sue; two sons, Michael LaGrange of Illinois and Aaron Stuart of Las Vegas; three daughters, Patricia Romanow of Illinois and Raylynn Stuart and Suzanne LaGrange, both of Las Vegas; one sister, Eleanor Dyal of Arkansas; and 10 grandchildren.

Donald Charles Mettinger
Donald Charles Mettinger, 49, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 24, 1951, in Chicago. A resident for 22 years, he was an automotive salesman.
He is survived by his companion, Susan S. Spaine, and one daughter, Lyndsey Mettinger, both of Las Vegas.

Judy Mouton, 81, of Mira Loma, Calif., died Saturday in Mira Loma. She was born Feb. 20, 1920. A former Henderson resident for 15 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two granddaughters, Denise Russell of Mesa, Ariz., and Stacy Gleason of Montclair, Calif.; and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be noon Saturday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Burial will follow in Eden Vale Memorial Park.

Morris Freeman Neaves, 73, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospice. He was born Dec. 10, 1928, in Illinois. A resident for nine years, he was a security officer and an Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Joann; one son, Morris of Las Vegas; two daughters, Pat Garlough and Mary Jane Bloom; two sisters, Betty Nokes and Patsy, both of Illinois; and two brothers, Joseph of Illinois and Charles Neaves of Kansas.

Sherri Lynn Parker, 48, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born March 6, 1953, in Chicago. A resident for 10 years, she was an automobile mechanic.

He is survived by two daughters, Christina Sigismondi and Geena Sigismondi, both of Las Vegas; his father, Pat Sigismondi of New York; his mother, Lisa Fortunoff of Las Vegas; four brothers, Richard Sigismondi, Mark Washington, Tony Cormaci and Doug Rizzi, and two sisters, Debra Cormaci and Dana Washington, all of Las Vegas; and his grandmother, Jessie Savarese of New York.

Robert Thomas, 85, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 18, 1915, in Ardmore, Okla. A resident for 33 years, he was a retired hotel porter supervisor and an Army veteran.
He is survived by three daughters, Kimberly Thomas of Oakland, Calif., DeAnna Thomas and Esther Thomas, and two sons, Robert Thomas Jr. and Grady Thomas, all of Las Vegas; one brother, Eddie Thomas of Dallas; and three grandchildren.
