April Alcala died Sunday, her date of birth.
She is survived by her parents, Derek and Alicia Alcala, and one sister, Aussie Alcala, all of Las Vegas.

Delmont Clyde Bickle
Delmont Clyde Bickle, 69, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born April 9, 1932, in Harrisburg, Pa. A resident for 30 years, he was a retired Air Force technical sergeant and Vietnam War veteran and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He is survived by one son, David Bickle of Oklahoma; one stepdaughter, Brenda K. Bradshaw of North Carolina; one brother, Gary Bickle of Pennsylvania; and two grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. services Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will be in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
David A. Christensen
David A. Christensen, 32, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born June 1, 1968, in Joliet, Ill. A resident for five years, he was a banquet chef at Treasure Island and a member of the local band Murphy's and More.
He is survived by his parents, Dale and Lynda Christensen of Coal City, Ill., and Lynne and Art Walker of Morris, Ill.; four sisters, Kris Zebell of Morris, Susan Christensen of Joliet, Becky Perino of Arlington Heights, Ill., and Nicole Ulivi of Coal City; three brothers, Joseph Christensen of Coal City, Ill., Doug Walker of Joliet and Bryan Perino of Bolingbrook, Ill.; and his grandparents, Lena Christensen and Dorothy Welch, both of Coal City, and Roy and Roberta Walker of Tinley Park, Ill.
Services and burial will be in Illinois. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.
Patsy I. Deweese
Patsy I. Deweese, 62, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born March 30, 1939, in Seymour, Texas. A resident for 16 years, she was a casino change girl.
She is survived by her husband, Leroy; two daughters, Debbie Kingham of Valdosta, Ga., and Judy Souza of Mesa, Ariz.; one sister, Lula Mae Kovar of Weatherford, Texas; and three grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in University United Methodist Church, 4412 S. Maryland Parkway. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Ronald R. Erwin
Ronald R. Erwin, 67, of Henderson died Saturday in a local hospice. He was born Jan. 10, 1934, in Chicago. A resident for one year, he was a retired businessman and a member of Gideon International.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn; two sons, Mark Erwin of Menlo Park, Calif., and Paul Erwin of Minnetonka, Minn.; one daughter, Carol Barry of Mason, Ohio; one sister, Karen Erwin of Canton, Ohio; and six grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will be private.

Mary R. Freeman, 73, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born May 2, 1927, in Kansas. A resident for 54 years, she was a lab representative for Drug Research Lab.
She is survived by four sons, Larry Freeman of San Diego and Duane Freeman, Jerry Freeman and Bill Freeman, all of Las Vegas; two daughters, Patricia Jones of Mississippi and Glenda Schultz of Las Vegas; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Friday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
Betty K. Genge
Betty K. Genge, 77, of Boulder City died Wednesday in a local care center. She was born May 27, 1923, in Ohio. A former Las Vegas resident for nine years and a Boulder City resident for 11 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Lewis.

Ethel M. Greenwood
Ethel M. Greenwood, 92, of Henderson died Friday in Henderson. She was born March 15, 1909, in Melrose, Mass. A resident for 29 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter, Betty G. Brennan; one son, Richard A. Greenwood of Mexico; eight grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Thursday and 9-11 a.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Graveside services will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Henderson.
Michael Gresko
Michael Gresko, 69, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born March 31, 1932, in Saltsburg, Pa. A resident for 20 years, he was a retired bus driver.
He is survived by three daughters, Sharon Gresko of Apollo, Pa., and Cynthia L. Chesnick and Monica L. Null, both of Jacksonville, Fla.; two sons, Sidney Gresko and Bradley Gresko, both of Apollo; two sisters, Dolores Stefanik of Los Angeles and Caroline Duchon of Indiana, Pa.; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

William F. Hoff Sr., 79, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 10, 1921, in Marcus Hook, Pa. A resident for 50 years, he was a retired state agriculturist and county agent and a World War II Navy officer.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy L.; one daughter, Carolyn L. Hoff of Lewis, Colo.; three sons, William F. Hoff Jr. of Honduras, Carl A. Hoff of Mesa, Ariz., and David T. Hoff of Las Vegas; and three grandchildren.

Vernaldo Jewett, 80, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born March 14, 1921, in Idaho.

Gowralal Jodhan, 51, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 4, 1949, in Trinidad and was a kitchen attendant.
He is survived by three daughters, Sharon Jodhan of Las Vegas and Caroline Jodhan and Donna Jodhan, both of North Las Vegas; and one son, Don Jodhan of North Las Vegas.

Ben D. Johnson, 80, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospice. He was born Nov. 18, 1920, in Milton, Ore. A resident for 23 years, he was a retired rancher/businessman and World War II Army Air Corps veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Suzanne; four daughters, JoAnne Beebe of Las Vegas, Joydene Walunas of Wilsonville, Ore., Mary Sue Knight of Phoenix and Cindy Lebrun of Gresham, Ore.; one brother, Walter Johnson of Tucson; 15 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Graveside services were scheduled at 1:30 p.m. today in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd.

James L. Kendrick, 75, of Scenic, Ariz., died Monday in Mesquite. He was born Dec. 13, 1925, in Joplin, Mo. A former resident for 25 years, he was a retired city government maintenance worker, World War II and Korean War Navy veteran and a member of the American Legion and Elks.
He is survived by three sons, Edward Kendrick of Las Vegas, Jim Kendrick of Henderson and Dennis Kendrick of Dallas; one daughter, Ginger Cole of Laskeside, Calif.; two stepsons, Edwin Elmer of San Angelo, Texas, and Randy Elmer of Redmond, Utah; his mother, Hester Kendrick, one brother, La Velle Kendrick, and one sister, Eloise Worley, all of Phoenix; 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 9 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
Edward W. Lacy Sr.
Edward W. Lacy Sr., 72, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospice. He was born Dec. 28, 1928, in Minneapolis. A resident for three years, he was a retired sheet metal worker, a Korean War Air Force veteran, a Golden Gloves champion in 1945, 1946 and 1948 and a member of the American Legion.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn; two daughters, Alita of Minneapolis and Valerie of Brooklyn Park, Minn.; four sons, William, Steven and Leon, all of Minneapolis, and Edward Jr. of St. Paul, Minn.; two sisters, Irene and Patricia, both of Minneapolis; 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd.

Ray K. LaGrange, 74, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 6, 1926, in Benton County, Iowa. A resident for 27 years, he was a plumber for a government contractor, a World War II Navy veteran and a member of the Shriners.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Sue; one son, Michael LaGrange of Illinois; four daughters, Patricia Romanon of Illinois and Raylynn Stuart, Suzanne LaGrange and Aaron Stuart, all of Las Vegas; one sister, Eleanor Dyal of Arizona; and 10 grandchildren.

Federico A. Lopez, 71, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 7, 1930, in Nicaragua. A resident for 13 years, he was a retired retail sales business owner.
He is survived by his wife, Olga; three daughters, Cecylia Lopez of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Isolina Silva and Ligia Segovia, both of Las Vegas; two sons, Federico Lopez Jr., and Carlos Lopez, both of Las Vegas; two brothers, Miguel Lopez of Los Angeles and Carlos Lopez of Nicaragua; two sisters, Socorro Bendana and Celia Gomez, both of Nicaragua; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Wednesday in Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 5485 E. Charleston Blvd. Burial will be in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Claire L. Nimphius, 94, of Pahrump died April 23 in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 16, 1907, in Providence, R.I. A resident for 25 years, she was an operator for the police department.
She is survived by one daughter, Gloria McMackin of Pahrump; and one sister, Edna Mandel of Manhattan, N.Y.
Services will be 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in Eden Vale Memorial Park.
Ted Richards
Ted Richards, 60, of Boulder City died Sunday in Boulder City. He was born Feb. 2, 1941, in Weber Falls, Okla. A resident for three years, he was a retired owner of a welding shop.
He is survived by his companion, Betty Meeks; two daughters, Jodie Parker and Lori Pinto, and his mother, Jewel Richards, all of Salinas, Calif.; one brother, George Richards of San Jose, Calif.; and one grandchild.

Rosemary Russo, 49, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born July 28, 1951, in Grand Rapids, Mich. A resident for 25 years, she was a cocktail waitress for 15 years.
She is survived by two sons, Travis Johnson and Darius Johnson; her mother, Ada Denton; all of Las Vegas; and three grandchildren.

William Russo, 61, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 29, 1940, in New York. A resident for 20 years, he was a chef.

Pedro Sandoval, 69, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born May 13, 1931, in Mexico. He was a laborer for a produce company.
He is survived by six daughters, Elvira Chavira of California, Catlina Murillo of Los Angeles, Petra Roman of Sun Valley, Calif., and Maria Arteaga, Angelicia Cruz and Esmelda Madera, all of Las Vegas; five sons, Gustavo Sandoval, Francisco Gonzalez and Manuel Sandoval, both of Las Vegas and Miquel Sandoval and Pedro Sandoval Jr., both of Oakland, Calif.; and three sisters, Pulin Adame, Eulalia Arteaga and Juana Roman, all of Mexico.
Visitation is scheduled 4-8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary today in Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson. No services are scheduled. Burial will be in Jalisco, Mexico.

Ronald J. Scoffield, 64, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born June 7, 1936, in Idaho. A resident for 29 years, he was an iron worker.
He is survived by four sons, Shawn Scoffield of Henderson and Jay Scoffield, Scott Scoffield and Brad Scoffield, all of Pocatello, Idaho; and one daughter, Kelly Skindoor of Pocatello; two brothers, Brent Scoffield and Kent Scoffield, both of Wyoming; two sisters, Karen Scoffield and Judy Scoffield, both of California; 23 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

John Russell Stilenovich Jr.
John Russell Stilenovich Jr., 46, died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 29, 1954, in Las Vegas. A lifetime resident, he worked in mining.
He is survived by one son, Robert J. Stilenovich of Las Vegas.
Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at American Burial & Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane.
Rhesha M. Topple
Rhesha M. Topple, 74, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born April 6, 1927, in New York City. A resident for 10 years, she was a teacher and an artist.
She is survived by her husband, Sam; one son, Raymond S. Topple of Las Vegas; one daughter, Linda Leibson of Staten Island, N.Y.; and three grandchildren.

Albert Uzala, 64, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born March 15, 1937, in Turkey and was a casino porter.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria; two daughters, Vicky Uzala and Marisol Uzala, both of Las Vegas; two sons, Michael Uzala of Las Vegas and Moty Uzala of Israel; and two brothers, Nathan Ezquenazy of Montebello, Calif., and Joseph Ezquenazy of Las Vegas.
Services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday in King David Memorial Chapel, 2697 E. Eldorado Lane. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Helen Louise Washum, 83, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospice. She was born Aug. 5, 1917, in Vicksburg, Miss. A resident for 44 years, she was a retired supermarket clerk and a member of the Rebekah Lodge.
She is survived by three daughters, Helen Ann Mowery of Henderson and Catherine L. Roemer and Sybil Y. Richardson, both of Las Vegas; three sons, Fay Washum Jr., of Mounds, Okla., Joseph E. Washum of Plano, Texas, and William L. Washum of Warner, Okla.; 23 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and six great great-grandchildren.

Billy Junior Welch, 73, of Las Vegas died April 23. He was born June 8, 1927, in Akron, Ohio. A resident for 29 years, he was a retired Army veteran.
He was preceded in death by one son, William D. Welch; and one sister, Jeanette E. May.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara A.; two daughters, Elma V. Hill and Deborah A. Smith, both of Las Vegas; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
